Interesting site. But very frustrating because almost no explanations. The Abey deserve a higher level of historical and economical context.

Very nice historic site. There is not much left of the famous cathedral of Cluny, but the complex of the monastery is big and there is enough to see to get a feeling of the medieval grandeur.

Very impressive, i.e. if you think about how large the old Cathedral must have been (the Computersimulation with the movable Monitor is a good help!); the Areal is also very beautiful.

Fascinating history. Mostly destroyed after the revolution. Surviving buildings have been restored. Various models of what the abbey used to look like. The town around the abbey has ruins of it. Pair of palaces. One now a town hall the other a museum.

I wouldn't recommend it there's nothing much to see for the price you pay.
We were really surprised that most of it doesn't exist anymore so you actually visit something a virtual abbaye.
We were really disappointed.
