Well priced hotel in good location. Rooms much bigger than the average UK hotel rooms. Very clean and staff very helpful. Huge choice at breakfast.

The staff are helpful, knowledgable and welcoming. The is locally made goods in the reception area. The staff really are the pride of the hotel, they know the area well and are great for giving recommendations.

The reception area is accessed from both sides (Port and Car Park). The welcome is prompt and friendly. We were surprised to hear a Scottish voice (Fiona) behind the desk!

Personnel agréable et à l'écoute. Vue magnifique. Chambre propre. Petit déjeuner très varié pour pas cher.

As a Brit: the area began by feeling quiet alienating. It seemed we were the only ones here to start with, but as the day progressed we heard more and more familiar voices, which put us at ease. In actual fact we felt very welcome and the locals were more than happy to accommodate our embarrassing attempts at the French language!

Non digne d'un 3 étoiles.. pas de produit dans les douche si ce n'est du basique....salle de bains vétuste.. literie confortable.. équipements toilettes de chez brico dépôt.. pas de cafetière dans la chambre..
Personnel très agréable et à l'écoute...
Evitez le petit déjeuner qui pour 10€ il est vrai.. n'est pas copieux ni varié... Cet établissement mérite juste 2 étoiles.. vraiment pas plus...

Hôtel correct mais qui ne mérite pas toutes ces étoiles (selon moi). La chambre d'hôtel était belle, bien décorée et le ménage globalement bien fait mis à part la poussière que j'ai sentit car je suis allergique. Pour le prix, je m'attendais à une chambre bien plus grande ! Aussi, le quartier est vraiment peu fréquentable et à mon goût cela justifie mon mécontentement vis à vis du prix de la chambre (selon moi il devrais être bien plus bas en vue du quartier). Heuresement pour rattraper ces points noirs, le personnel était très chaleureux et de bon conseil. Bref, correct mais il y a mieux.

Breakfast is well stock and continental with a long open period (0730-1130).

The hotel is an excellent base to see the rest of the town. Close enough that you can be in the busy areas in just a few minutes, but far enough away that it is very quiet and restful.

Great location next to the harbour (which has a water taxi into town) and a main route out of town. The area is quiet with the hotel set in a little courtyard of apartments. The harbour is 50yds walk. Their are good restaurants nearby on a little promenade which hosted an evening market when we visited.
The water taxi costs €1,10 each way and runs to the harbour up until 19:45. There is another water taxi operating more southerly that runs up until 2am (seasonal, I think).

Rooms are a little dated (built in early 2000s I believe) but very clean and looked after. There was a shower/bath with separate toilet in our room. The balcony looked out across the courtyard with the harbour in view. There is a commercial port across the water that plays a central role in the geography of Port Olonne. It's quiet and unobtrusive and doesn't particularly deject from the harbour.

Smaller hotel situated a stones throw from the marina. In a semi residential area. Lots of choice of restaurant nearby. Feels family run with emphasis on quality of service.

We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again and again to this lovely little locale.
