Ups and downs of a small airport. Plus: extremely quick when you arrive. Immigration and luggage pick up is swift. Negative: lack of amenities/facilities. One small cafe with limited sitting.
Overall nonchalant experience.

Small airport punches above its weight.it wasn't really built for 737s stuffed with holiday makers but they handle the volumes very well. Immigration was quite fast. Baggage was fast. It is easy to get your hire car and drive out of the airport

Small, efficient airport. Good value food and parking. Lost a bit of its charm as it's become a real airport but still my favourite. Just watch out that Europcar don't rip you off for fuel when you return your car.

Small but efficient airport. Bus to the city centre (yelo) is on the right when you exit the arrival hall. Bus comes every 30 mins.

So quick because it's a very small airport. Easy travel from La Rochelle (LRH) to Dublin (DUB).

Great little airport. Swift in and out. If you are getting a hire car, however, and dropping it back on a Sunday beware you may have an extra charge ( in my case 54€) if the hire car desk is unmanned.
