Deborah spoke both french and English fluently ,this helped us to buy the house open all the utility accounts set up internet and even gave us fantastic advice on people who could help us to renovate the house and barns as we want to turn them into gites.Deborah told us straight no lies no untruths, people like her just dont normally work in places like this.Ho and she saved us 15,000 euros on the price of the house. now thats what i call a star.thank you Deborah for being so good at what you do and going the extra mile to make sure we got what we wanted and was happy long after we bought the house .

Right from the start, Deborah made purchasing our French hideaway a smooth, hassle free process. Being fluent in both French & English, she was very helpful when we were faced with documents in French, and this helpfulness has continued since we bought the property.
Now we are considering buying a second property, we have involved Deborah from the outset.
We are very glad we dropped into the agency in Pont d'Ouilly on the spur of the moment.

We looked at over 35 houses and dealt with over 15 estate agents before we found 'the one' and I have to say, Deborah was by far the best we dealt with. Friendly, honest, bilingual and so very helpful. We almost completed on a previous house with another estate agent and the difference between their attitude and Deborah's was astounding. Whilst they were just after the sale, being far from truthful about aspects of the purchase, pushing and bullying us into signing compromis until our solicitor advised us to pull out, Deborah couldn't have been more different. She was always professional and made us so comfortable with the buying process so even after our previous experience, we didn't even feel the need to use a solicitor and never regretted that decision. We not only found our dream house with her (which she got for us at a superb price) but when we struggled with the English mortgage broker she stepped in and found us a fantastic French mortgage advisior who secured our mortgage for us in amazingly quick time and with no hassle. When we asked about work which we needed to do on the house, she put us in touch with an honest, genuine, English speaking builder who has now become a good friend and also looks after our house and garden when we are not there. For anyone who is looking to buy a house in France, I hope you too find a Deborah, because with a professional estate agent, your buying experience is so much more enjoyable.

As most people know looking for the ideal house to suit your budget can be quite daunting.Enter Deborah Stephens-Clivaz estate agent at Alt Immobilier.From our first telephone contact I could sense Deborah's professionality and keeness to find us what we had in mind.We had already sold our permanent home in France (600 kilometres south of Suisse Normande) and were desperate to find ourselves another home in the allotted time of one week.We had set our hearts on a couple of houses we had seen online and Deborah duly took us on viewings.However, none of them were as we had imagined.A very vital piece of information to add here is that due to inheritance having to be paid out on the sale of our present home our budget had dropped drastically and therefore we were obliged to look at properties that normally we would not previously have considered. We left Deborah wondering if we would ever be able to afford a decent roof over our heads - then the following day ABRACADABRA! Deborah rings us up to say a house had just come on the market and would we like to see it.We saw it,fell for it, and are soon to move in.

Trouvez vous sa normal que cette agence baisse les prix pour les anglais et ne fait rien pour les français je trouve sa honteux et scandaleux ce procédez la vive cette agence de merde

Deborah was extremely helpful during the purchase of our French property. As she is bilingual she was able to set up all our utilities including organising our internet with Orange. If we experienced any problems, whether big or small, Deborah immediately sorted it out for us; nothing was ever too much trouble. Her friendly attitude plus her willingness to assist in every way with the complex process of the French system made our experience pleasant and enjoyable. We couldn't have done it without her help.
