A Mexican restaurant in Paris! I would have skipped this opportunity but for a friend's advice. I am so glad I went. The menu is from southern Mexico with a French flair. The place seems to be a favorite of local young adults who know good food. I recommend it highly.

This was by far the worst meal I've had in Paris. I've had $3 street tacos in Los Angeles that were better than this food...I can't recommend this place at all . The marguerites were watery, the rose undrinkable (3 of our party tried it), the main courses were all over-salted, and they had a really hard time accommodating my food allergy. Even after I had mentioned I had one, to 3 different waiters, I had to keep asking them to check and see if I could eat any of the shared dishes the group ordered (the answer: no).

Soup & enchiladas are good. Cochinita used to be good but NOT anymore. Tamales are terrible... Restaurant used to be OK before. Definetely it is not the case anymore...

As someone who spent 30 years in California and countless meals at my Mexican-American friends’ houses/celebrations, I can firmly say that the flavors here are always real, Mexican flavor. Yes, you may get a more french cut or meat but you are in France with better meat because of regulations. The first time i went here (I’ve gone 6 or so times) I almost cried it tasted so much like home. They also have good, large (compared to other french Mexican places but not large compared to US) margaritas and other cocktails. This is a sit down restaurant not taqueria, they have a taqueria too (El Guacamole) in the 10th if that is what you are looking for.

We paid 55 euro each and it was worth maybe 20/person at a stretch.

The lady at the door would not serve two glasses of wine without obligatorily getting food first. Menu says they feature Tequila tasting but probably cannot even try that without getting food as well. It's okay to try to pay the bills at all costs but that particular technique is obviously going to fail in the long term! I am not going back!

Very good service and kitchen. May be the best Mexican restaurant in Paris.
