I love a good breakfast, and I love dessert - I travel the world seeking them out. The description of the hot chocolate as being ‘as thick as pudding’ falls well short of the truth, and I’ve had much better elsewhere. Likewise, the famed ‘Mont Blanc’ is beyond sweet, to the point where I felt sick. The food isn’t anything special. The service can be cold. The venue itself is quite impressive though. Still, if I had known what I was getting into, I would not have wasted my time or money.

Hip to the hip hop Hype! If Angelina was the only meal and dessert you eat in Paris then you won't be upset! My wife and I visited this location twice and the location in the Palace of Versailles. Each time was great! The Hot chocolate is literally like someone took solid chocolate bars, melted them and then added just a hair of milk enough to keep it from solidifying. You have to get it while you wait in line.. oh yeah. There's a wait. It's worth it. Don't worry. Pick from anything on the menu. The omelet Angelina, the Angelina Croissant, the Caesar salad and many other great meals. Be sure to grab some chocolate to go on your way out. Makes for a fun midnight snack!

We tried their shops in Shanghai and Hong Kong before and wanted to try the original, so to speak. Cakes were pretty good but slightly pricey.

Angelina it's a classic in Paris, the rooms the employers are also very vintage and the service is great. It worth the visit but prepare yourself because it too much expensive. 1 small cake its around 9€ and a tea its 6,5€. The food its really great and the experience there it's also amazing. I asked for a croissant in the afternoon and it was already sold out, it was a pity.

Wife and I ordered the Angelina Breakfast. Quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. As someone who loves a good breakfast I will centre my next trip to Paris around this place so I can go again. The crossaints melt in your mouth and the eggs are cooked to perfection the way you like it. Staff were awesome. Highly recommended it to anyone visiting Paris. Save your money elsewhere to make room for this.

Hot chocolate, yes, but dont do pastry. The place was a little too touristy for me. The wait staff was friendly just to a point because they were way too busy to be attentive. just order the hot chocolate but not other stuff. The reason is the chocolate was so thick and creamy after two sips you wouldnt taste anything else. in fact. we ordered a pastry to go along with the chocolate. but we were disappointed either because the chocolate was so rich or it was just so so. either way, it was not money well spend.

Touristy place but still worth trying it.

Don't let that guy stop you... everyone else was awesome.

Very pretty and with a wide selection of teas and cakes. The cakes are a good size for one person. The service was good for such a popular place!

They ran out of dessert by the time we came at 6pm. The place has good hot chocolate but wasn't the best I've had. The French onion soup came out cold and at $12eu a bowl I would expect more. Really only positive was the decor is really beautiful. Over all impression is that there's definitely much much better places in the surrounding area.

Service did not match the pastries, though. Good to visit at least once but I do not think we will need to return.

It's a great place for brunch or lunch after a morning at the Louvre. We had the croque madame and croissant with egg and cheese. Both were really good and filling. I also had a cup of hot chocolate which was fantastic. The pastries were seriously delicious, just take a look at the photos. After that meal, you can roll yourself over to the Louvre again.

Superb place in the heart of Paris! Great hot chocolate, and their cakes r lovely.
Didn't have the food as the kitchen was closed at the time we went.
Suggest to book a table beforehand. Had to wait around 20-25 mins in line to get in.

The only reason I'm leaving four stars is due to the what seemed like a greedy waiter. He brought us bottled waters instead of tap water like everyone else which racked up our bill. Then proceeded to ask for a tip at the end of the meal. Not once in Paris was I asked for a tip. It must be because I am American and must think I can afford it. News flash buddy I flew here on miles.... lol
