The greatest aquarium i've been to. Awesome fish collection. There several albinos, those were captivating. The iguanas are stunnishing. I don't know about the food and stuff, but the collection is worth the money. The parking was difficult and the line was a long about 30-40 minutes. I spent 4 hours in the facility.
Lascaux is 40 minutes away so if you are near by you might pay a visit.
The city of Le Bugue was also a good place to spend time after a memorable day.
I would defenetly go back in the future.

Waited over an hour to get in, then waited 40 mins for food. Surely its obviously you need to emply more people during the peak season. Kids loved it though!

Great half day out for the kids.

Pretty poor value for money. We visited the aquarium on a pretty quiet August day. It cost €48 for 2 adults, 2 children and an infant which doesn't sound too bad, except we really took our time walking round (we read every information board) and we had done the lot in an hour. A lot of the fish exhibits looked pretty tired and not as clean as they should be. The alligator and reptile part however was ok, and looked a lot newer, but most of the alligators were pretty small.
The place is geared up to try and make you do all the four activities on site (mini golf, a go-ape type thing and a prehistoric labyrinth), but this would have cost over €150 and looking at the size of the place, it would have still only filled half a day. I would say definitely one to avoid.

We visited just a few days ago , and thoroughly enjoyed the day . Plenty to see and a great experience .

We come back to the Dordogne every year, and every year we visit Périgord Noir. It gets better and better every year. The Jungle Golf always has new holes. This year Big Bird was open, although it was too hot to try it out, but it looks freaking awesome! If you're around Le Bugue, you MUST spend the day here!!

Nice park for easy day out with family. Not particularly cheap but money goes to saving rare species

The queue is almost as long as the time spent in the aquarium. Very overpriced and very busy. Don't really understand the good reviews-maybe people who haven't been to a an aquarium before. It's mildly interesting-pretty small. Would be ok for a first visit but the photos in brochures make it look really big. It isn't. Not sure how this claims to be the largest in Europe?. Ok for little kids.

Super aquarium ! C'est la deuxième fois qu'on y va en quatre ans et il y avait pleins de nouveautés. Intéressant pour petits et grands !
