I made a reservation beforehand. This means I filled out a form with my date and time of arrival beforehand to the owner via Email. Also I transfered a partial payment beforehand by bank transfer. Along this process the owner repeatedly confirmed that I could stay there. Upon my arrival at Foix the place was CLOSED. Neither was their a reaction on the doorbell nor was anybody answering my phonecalls. A friendly neighbor had a look outside his window and told me that the place was closed on Sunday. Therefore I had to find a new place Sunday evening, after being 11hours en route with a heavy backpack. Furthermore I payed the partial payment for nothing. Seemingly the hostel is quite badly organized. For me this is a sign of indifference and lack of hospitality.
