Très bonne table et gérante accueillante et serviable. Chambres propres et fonctionnelles literie confortable. Point de vue sur la vallée magnifique. accès au parking par allée gravillonnées sujette à chute pour les deux roues.

The location is a nice one and the terrace is lovely. But - very much not enough to make the visit worthwhile.

This is a curious place and I think the root lies in that the manageress really doesn't seem to enjoy doing what she does. From the start, it was not welcoming.

When we checked in, we were told that the chef had absconded a couple of days earlier and that there would only be a very limited menu available. In itself, that is not necessarily a terrible thing. What was terrible, however, was the food and the value for money. The food for the kids was chicken nuggets and chips, with an ice-cream to follow. That "menu" was 14 Euros each. The adults selection was very limited, very basic, clearly used tasteless frozen vegetables and cost 25 Euros per person! I suspect that these are the standard menu prices, so there had been no adjustment for the fact that the chef was gone, the selection was essentially non-existent and all the food was pre-prepared (and appeared within seconds of ordering). Truly shocking and far and away the worst value for money I have had in a long time. Likewise, breakfast was an additional 8 Euros per person and amounted to a croissant and an orange juice.

The room was OK, but very basic and neglected. Throughout the property, there is a lack of care and investment. If a light-bulb has broken, it's likely not replaced.

I'm afraid that this is a property very much in need of investment and a completely different style of management. For the prices, it's nowhere near where it needs to be. It's run-down and feels it, from the appearance to the service, food, etc. Charging guests more and more will not solve that problem.

Sadly the inhouse restaurant has been closed the two evenings we were here. The sign 'fermé aujourd'hui' seems to be hanging here for some time.
