Only chair is kept in the room that gogh lived last time. There were nothing other than the chair. Nobody explained about that chair. Admission fee 6Euro was too expensive.

L'auberge Ravoux is a delightful visit.
Before visiting the auberge, my advise to you is: Take the walking tour around the village. This walk will take you to the church, cemetery and wheatfields and you'll "see" the paintings.
In Van Gogh's room, you'll find nothing, but you can imagine him being there. There is also a nice video afterwards.
The only reason for the 4 star review is the price of the tour. It's 6 euro, a bit steep for what you'll get.

I much-anticipated visiting this landmark. When I arrived I was mostly spellbound. The building and decor have been masterfully crafted to reflect the same decor from the late 1800s. The meals that my family and I enjoyed were impeccable. Beautiful presentation and delicious. The absinthe ice cream was perfect. I highly recommend dining in the café as you also plan your tour of Vincent van Gogh's bedroom. The video that was shown before the tour was Beautiful, heartwarming, and emotionally moving. It certainly was the best way to introduce others to the man and his work if any visitor is unfamiliar with this artist. We were escorted in small groups up a tiny stairwell and through a couple of rooms before we entered Vincent's room. There is but one chair in his room. To me, a fan of the man and artist, I understood the deep intention of a single chair. Some visitors are offended at paying to tour and see one chair. But if you are familiar with Vincent's story you are deeply moved and understand the significance and symbolism. The upstairs, including his room, have been painstakingly preserved, exactly as it was when Vincent lived there. (So if you are bored or aghast at very simple primitive living conditions you will be disappointed. There are many ornate French chateaus for that. You will feel as though you wasted your time and your money.) This was all that Vincent could afford. And it is cleverly captured in the simplicity of this place. Our tour guide spoke broken English and offered only highlights of the history. I would love to sit with the man who restored this building and talk at length with him. It was a pleasure to meet him, and enjoyed his introduction to his profound project and love of Van Gogh. This place is an education not only of an artist but also of the heart and spirit of the man. I highly recommend going. And truthfully I yearn to return.

A Dream place for any admirer or fan of Van Gogh to go see the room Vincent spent the last seven months of his life in... but Beware they Absolutely Do Not allow you to photograph or video record the room for some reason.

Worth to watch Van Gogh's last place where he used to live if you really like Van Gogh's masterpieces.
