Do not waste your money here. The hotel is ridiculously overpriced, our bed in the 'Deluxe Double Room with Sea Views' contained bed bugs, basic facilities (such as air conditioning, hot water) don't work and staff were extremley rude, unhelpful and dismissive when we brought all of this up to them. Also to top it off the tiniest 50cL water from the minibar was 8 euros!!! So disappointed and angry we wasted so much money here, would not recommend to anyone.

The hotel seemed to purposely be not giving us meals as they obviously did not want us there, even though they were being paid for our stay and food. We can only imagine that they either do not like working, do not like us, or have a problem with pretentiousness.

Overall I was pleased with the place. Room was a little beat up, but otherwise comfortable and clean. Front desk was friendly and efficient, and their buffet breakfast was better than I'd anticipated and was easily the best I had on my trip.

The next day a member of staff told us, along with other guests from the flight, that we could not stay and that they were not allowing us the meals that we had been told by the airline that we would be provided. Again this was done very rudely. We rang the airline, who were equally unhelpful but said that they had booked our stay, with meals and that they would talk to the hotel. Eventually, and reluctantly the hotel agreed to (some of) this.

Staff was nice and helpful. The cleaning ladies were adamant about cleaning the room even if we had hung up the no cleaning sign. Mediocre room for a high price, but safe and convenient.

Good location, thin walls, needs serious repairs as the rooms look quite oldish and dirty.

The whole of our stay at the hotel involved the reception staff being rude to us, as soon as they realised we were from the cancelled flight. Begrudgingly they gave us some, but not all, of the meals we were owed and I have to say the restaurant staff were wonderful. Equally the cleaning staff were all pleasant to us.

For the majority of the stay we, although not enjoying the tempers of the staff, felt some sympathy due to the fact we thought our airline were at fault. However, on our last day when we went to check out, we happened to see some printed emails from the airline. These showed that the airline had been invoiced for our stay, and given the hotel instructions to provide us meals that the airline were paying for. I asked when the email had been received and the staff told me Sunday. We had arrived on Saturday, and therefore the hotel staff had been lying, to us and other guests in the same situation, for the majority of our stay.

After our flight was cancelled we were directed to this hotel, and told that it was reserved for us. This is a hotel that looks extremely grand, and is archaically typical of an upper class haunt. However, the service that we received at this hotel was dreadful, rendering the whole place beyond redemption.

The hotel is in a good area but super run-down. TheRe are only 2 lifts which are over used and smaLloyd with 3 or 4 being crowded. The entrance is nice and the roof top view but everything else needs to be updated and it would help to have some art in the rooms..Ours had old wallpaper with stains..nothing on the walls otherwise. The closets smelled like cat pee and the French doors opened out in to the backs of all the other buildings which came with the smell of rotten eggs. The shower head was in the middle of the shower instead of at an end so it pointed directly out..very awkward. The hotel and rooms were extremely hot. I asked for our AC to be turned on or fixed but that never happened so the patio doors remained open all day and night to get relief (it is March). The staff wasn't the most helpful either.

A great holiday experience a the B4 Plaza Hotel. We were impressed with its elegant facade and superb location overlooking the gardens toward the Promenade. The interior of the hotel was equally impressive and the welcome and level of service contributed to our feeling of wellbeing. The hotel is near the flower market, old town & exclusive shopping area.

I would warn everyone against staying here, there are better hotels which have staff with more than just a facade of good customer service.

During our stay we did witness the staff being helpful to other guests, and therefore I believe that they are capable of it, but this is not something they feel a need to extend to all their guests - regardless of the fact they are being paid to do so.

The room we were put in was simple, which was expected, but had no light except lamps. It received almost no light from the window which faced the back of another building. Again, we did not mind this really as we were not expecting much.

The staff member when we checked in told us that our airline had not contacted the hotel and therefore they were stretched with unexpected guests, which is understandably stressful, however it seemed beyond the recognition of the hotel that this was not our fault. The member of staff reluctantly gave us a room, throwing the cards over the desk to us and telling us our room number. We were given no further information and told to return to the desk the next day to talk about our stay.

Nice, friendly staff. Fine view from panoramic room. Easy to get around Nice

For all the places we have stayed Nice is beautiful but over expensive for what it is.

Very nice hotel. Room clean but a bit dated.
Food was great on the roof top bar but it is not open as late as advertised. Staff were friendly. Great location.

Nice ( :) ) rooms - we were at the 5th floor, so the view was breathtaking. Room was clean, there were not only shower gel and shampoo, but also a conditioner and body lotion, all smelling wonderful. There was also a gift - pretty smelling bar of soap in a beautiful package, that's a great welcoming idea! Breakfast was okay - buffet, fresh bread and I guess local products, large variety of drinks. One thing I would love was a bottle of free water in a room. There's also 6€ charge for using a fridge, which is kinda weird imo. Stuff is very friendly and kind.
