We took the tour at the end of October so crowds were not too bad. We had a wonderful driver - Jon - who was very knowledgeable and did everything possible to ensure we had a great tour. It was a long day - but well worth the time. Lunch was provided at a place owned by the company - great selection. We would never have been able to see all that we did in one day by ourselves - plus we had the tour guide to give us vast amounts of information. Excellent tour!

Tours are kept to a maximum of 16 persons. We were fortunate enough to have Andrew (who also happens to be the owner) as our guide. He was very knowledgable and VERY enthusiastic. We loved the multimedia aspect of the tour which included photos and videos. I wish we had more time to take any of the longer tours...there's always next time.

Highly recommended! Brilliant US sites D-Day tour choice! Andy was our guide, and the tour was comfortable, knowledgable, in-depth for beginners and experts alike, well-paced, and pleasant. Excellent multimedia accompaniments as we drove between sites. Wonderful lunch at a very cool spot owned by the company. Prompt pickup and drop off at the train stations.

I loved how there were short video clips between each stop that talked about some spots you either didn't get out for or was the next stop coming up. It was also great to have the tour limited to 16, however we only ended up with 8 people on our tour so it was very comfortable.

This part is of course no fault on Bayeux Shuttle so I will continue to stand by my 5 star review of their company.

I took the all day tour with Mike and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The tour was well thought out and full of detailed information. About the Normandy invasion. The bus was clean and had large TV monitor that played videos about the invasion along with interviews from survivors. The lunch was in a interesting spot too. The tour ended at the American Cemetery, we watched them lower the American flag while Taps played over the loud speakers. Quite a day.

Once of the best parts of the trips was stopping at a little estate just off of Utah beach where you are served lunch on traditional French bread. I have to honestly say that it was one of the best meals we had while we were in France.

We were thrilled at all the sites we visited on our tour. I'm not sure how you could cover enough if you chose the half day option. The personal stories of soldiers throughout the day were so touching as well.

Once word of caution is that you have to watch the trains. Normally, you are supposed to get off in Caen and transfer to another train to go to the next stop. However, there was a strike going on in France at the time (I feel like there always in) and there was no secondary train that day but luckily the train we were already on was stopping in Bayeux that day. However, the conductors were terrible at telling all of this and we all had to hop back on the train within seconds of it leaving. One set of people from our tour did miss the train and had to take a cab from Caen to Bayeux which is apparently very expensive.

Myself and the rest of my family (4 people total) were on a 3 week vacation. We didn't want to stay in Normandy at all and Bayeux was a perfect option for us. They have a tour that is actually in accordance with the train schedule from Paris. We were met by Charles who was an amazing guide who was full of knowledge.

Bayeux Shuttle is definitely the best way to visit the American D day sites. Owner and guide Andy Sutherland pours his heart and soul into this meaningful tour. His extensive historical research and knowledge gleaned from personal interviews with surviving veterans make his narration and videos both historically accurate and personally meaningful. The tour includes a lunch stop at a local farmhouse Andy has purchased and restored to WWII era images complete with memorabilia. Lunch consisted of custom made sandwiches on fresh baguettes. We highly recommend this trip.

Excellent service in every regard! This review is so late but I just found their card and am happy to give a 5 Star review! My wife arranged a full day tour for one of our 16 year old twin boys and me back in June/2017. We did it as a day trip from Paris taking the train. We were met by our driver Mike van den Dobblesteen and he was fantastic from the moment we saw him ....extremely knowledgeable, super friendly, perfectly professional, wonderfully passionate about the history and just a great caring guy all the way around. The van and their historic lunch cafe were both top notch!! I travel around the world for business and generally only go 1st class for business but this experience was definitely 1st class and I highly recommend Bayeux Shuttle and Mike!! Thanks so much!!

My family visited Normandy recently and decided to go on a Full Day D-Day Tour with Bayeux Shuttle. Beginning with a conversation with the office staff and continuing to the end of the day, everything was delivered with the utmost quality and care.

Amazing tour, I definitely recommend even as a non-American teenager! The locations were fascinating and the tour guy was professional and extremely interesting to listen to. Videos in between stops were a good way to give more information and keep one occupied during the trip. I would do it again if I could.

I would highly rate this tour and would easily recommend it to anyone who would like to make a day trip to the Normandy beaches who doesn't want to spend the night.

Excellent Shuttle service to Mont Saint Michel. Our driver was Fred and he was very courteous, punctual and informative. The drive to Mt. St. Michel was pleasant and with good information given through the automated videos with GPS maps in the Baeux Shuttle van. Th information given by the video system and GPS along with the driver was really good and helpful. Thanks Bayeux Shuttle.

My husband and daughter (who are both history buffs) were concerned that it might be a too basic, but our guide, Ian Everingham did an amazing job! He was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to answer nearly every question we had.

I would recommend this tour for those who are interested in the history of D-Day and want to cover all the important sites in one day.

We took the shuttle to Mont Saint Michel from Bayeux. The service was good, and our driver was friendly. It was up to us to ask questions about everything on the way, so come prepared to take advantage of the knowledgeable driver

It was a nice bonus to enjoy a generous lunch at a quaint spot with WWII history. You won't go away hungry. Also helpful was the fact that Ian dropped us off at the end of the day at the train station where we were parked.
