Toured this cemetery with my wife in 2015. Never cried so much in my life. 2 of my mother's cousins are buried here.

Quiet and out of the way. Peaceful but emotional. A Canadian bucket list must. Along w Juno Centre.

Canadian cemetary not from from Juno beach; so many young men laid to rest here. I'm glad I got the opportunity to visit this site.

During my travels through Europe I have visited a lot of war cemeteries, but I have found this one to be one of the most moving. I visited with a group of my high school students, and they found themselves (as did I) overwhelmed by the moving things written on the stones. The honour to serve their country, the love for their family, those who fought and new they would not survive, each grave stone tells a story of a real person who fought a real war - something we often forget. Take the time when visiting to walk up and down each row and glimpse into the lives of those who fought in WWII. These Canadians fought, and deserve us to remember their lives as soldiers, and as people. Well worth the time to visit. Glad our guide brought us here.

One of the most peaceful places I have ever been to in my life. Hallowed ground. It is located in some of the most beautiful countryside on earth. As an American, I thank God for the brave heroes who are buried there. We owe our freedom to them. I was in Normandy to see the place where my dad and his twin brother jumped in as part of the 101st Airborne. We drove to the Canadian Cemetery because my friend's dad is buried there. I am so glad I did. It is a deeply moving experience.

Worth a visit! Ignore the single one-star review. Who gives a war cemetery a bad review?!?

Extremely moving and solemn. Thank you for your sacrifices. Very well maintained by the French, thank you to you as well.

A Beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It is heart-warming to see the thousands of flowers that have been planted in memory of Canadians who lost their lives.

Just completed a Vimy 100 tour visiting many of the Canadian cemeteries in Normandy and Belgium. As a young teen I delivered newspapers to the veterans home, many of whom landed on the beaches on D-Day and in the weeks following. They suffered from 40 year old injuries, shell shock, etc. To see many of their friends and colleagues that never made it home was a very emotional experience. The cemetery is on a rise with a view of the surrounding villages and the ocean, the land they fought and died to free. As all war cemeteries it is immaculately kept and has a small building on which you can climb stairs to get a greater view out over all the headstones. A must see for Canadians.

It was very touching to visit this hallowed ground on Dec 4/2014. So many young persons gave their all for our freedom.
They were so young and could have achieved so much more given the opportunity. Thank you to the people of France for doing such an excellent job of maintaining this pristine cemetery in honor of them.
