Reviewing the town generally. We didn't bother with the museum as you can see the church for free which is the main thing of interest. No one is allowed in the graveyard. The views from the village are spectacular. Worth a trip even without the conspiracy theories! We paid the €2 to park a little closer to the town. It's probably about half way between the town and the lower car park so not an amazing difference but probably worth a couple of Euros. We ate in the Jardin restaurant just next to the museum which was expensive and to be honest the sparrows were a nuisance and shat on our table about 4 times before we moved inside to escape them. Didn't feel that lucky to be honest.

The mystery of the priest's unlikely wealth is explored as you visit the museum and see first-hand the now faded splendour of the presbytery. The adjoining church is breathtaking in its depiction of the story of Christ's life, crucifixion and resurrection, depicted by sometimes enigmatic plaques.

Great place to spend half of a day. Take a good camera for some pictures. Nice views and good restaurants. Better to have a good car & not too big because road to the top is rather chalanging.

Interesting museum, I just wished the information boards in English offered a bit more detail. Shop at site with plenty of books.
