La carte propose beaucoup de plats... ceux que j'ai choisies étaient bon. C'est un lieux que je recommande pour un repas d'affaire le midi ou le soir. C'est rapide et bon.

We arrived in this restaurant as a party of 13, between the usual lunch and dinner times, so could have been a nightmare for this restaurant, but the staff were very accommodating, even moving the tables to fit us all on the same table.
Despite our lack of French, we were able to order for everybody (with a little help!) and the food was very nice.
They have a wide selection of drinks and the coffee at the end was brilliant! I highly recommend the Cafe Gourmand!
I will certainly eat here again when back in the area.

I've been here twice when visiting the area. On the face of it a nice place to eat, first time was very good food, second time quite poor (though the Mrs had a great meal) Great position though - will maybe risk it again when we return to Saumur!

Horrible. Frites congelées réchauffées au micro onde. Steak tartare élastique. Menu enfant: moitié d une escalope qui semble avoir été resservi. Le tout cher. Bref.... passez votre chemin

A éviter absolument. Moules marinières un mangeables, "Frites congelées réchauffées au micro onde. Poisson trop cuit. Verre de rosé rafraichi avec des glaçons car servi pas à température, et le personnel sans moque complètement même après réclamation!

Dîner, vitre sale, moquette sale , menu dôme, viande saignante froide... Frites au menu et servi galette de pomme de terre hyper grasse, déçu... Ce lieu ne mérite pas le standing qu on lui prete

We have had lunches here on several occasions and have always enjoyed good food at a reasonable price with friendly service. Presently the cost of a 2 course lunch is 11 euro and 3 is around 13, excluding wine.
Well situated near the old bridge over the river and handy for the tourist office. It is very popular with French office workers and always busy. If you are a party of 4+ I would recommend advance booking.
