Perfect location. Some staff can be rather mean. Overall ok.

It is a very small pension-style hotel, so you can't expect the Ritz. Having said that, considering the location, the price and the quality of the meal, I will go back when in Paris again.

Good for a short stay

We ordered the soup of the day which was a homemade cream of vegetable soup. It was very hot and very comforting. After the soup, we had our main meals; I had chicken and my partner had steak and both were served with fries. Our food was very hot and there was no salt or pepper added to hide or mask any of the flavour.( And I wouldn't care if people at another table took the aalt and pepper from my table; I've seen that happen in New York City and in London.) My partner had the homemade créme caramel for dessert, and we each had an espresso allongé. We paid a reasonable price for our meals, considering that we had a half litre of wine.

We ate at this restaurant on June 21, having lunch there before boarding the Eurostar to London. It is a quaint little place and is very typical of French bistro. On entering, we were greeted by the owner, an elderly French woman. She invited us to choose a table and, in very short time, she brought us menus.

Very good location near to gare du nord. Easy access to trains and buses. Lot of restaurants near by. The staff there was so nice and guided us perfectly on the attractions and travel. Room was neat and clean.

I will return to this restaurant when I go back to Paris, and I might even stay at the hotel adjoining it. At 60 euro per night with breakfast included, it is a bargain.

It's ok

C'est un très petit hôtel style pension alors il ne faut pas s'attendre au Pérou. Cependant, je dois dire que vu la location, le prix du repas et la qualité que nous avons eu, je retournerais manger là n'importe quand.

We ate at the brasserie Belge while waiting for our departure on the Eurostar. The place gives the impression of being in a regional hotel in the '50s.
We were greeted by an elderly woman who seemed to be the owner. She was also the cook. The whole meal was excellent and very reasonably priced: A very good vegetable cream soup followed by steak and fries and a house-made creme caramel.

After reading Alex's review, I felt compelled to render my account. Perhaps he should consider eating at McDonald's.
