Food and wine was solid and relatively inexpensive considering they are located right next to the Pompidou, however, after a couple of bottles of wine that me and my friends got, the slimy waiter clearly tried to take advantage of the fact that we were tourists by acting like the service was not included. Luckily were aware that service is included everywhere in Paris so we asked to speak to the manager to clarify. Be aware

INSIDER TOP: the upstairs section is a favorite haunt of some of France's top screenwriters and authors, squirrelly away in various niches, tapping their laptops or writing longhand. (Tables near outlets are highly valued!)

Classic stylish French cafe with fancily dressed up wait staff, excellent food, and a chic atmosphere. My favorite place to chill out and spend (way) too much for a "noisette" (the French version of an espresso macchiato). Awesome people watching, especially in good weather sitting outside on the terrace.
If you're visiting the Pompidou Center, I recommend stopping here lunch or, even better, for their famous, fabulous, & filling brunch.

This was a wonderful outside cafe that my son and my daughter and I went to on what about last nights and Paris. my son had a beer and my daughter and I had hot chocolate. in places like this you hang around for a long time the waiters come slow and they expect you to stay a long time. The space is right next to a real beautiful museum.

Fast service by a waiter with an attitude and motoric hazard, swinging knives and dishes around heads and hair from all directions. Food is good quality, but then, most food in France is. Pricing a bit above average. They live off the location.

The terrace is a best hanging out place during those warm summer nights in Paris where there is still day light until 11pm. Beautiful scenery, nice people, and the assurance of being served food at any hour until past midnight.
