After visiting the fine boutiques around the narrow cobbled streets of St Paul de Vence you can stop at cafe de la place for some deliciously prepared food with a good choice of dishes, have a nice glass of wine whilst watching the locals play boules. They have a good bilingual service.

Tavolini all'aperto e vista sulla piazza dove,a volte, si vedono persone che giocano a bocce. A sinistra c'è l'ingresso dello storico "La Colombe", dove hanno alloggiato e pranzato personaggi famosi come Trintignant e Brigitte Bardot.il cibo del Cafe' è discreto e a un prezzo contenuto, il servizio è veloce.

Not worth another visit and would advice to have drink or food somewhere else.

The ladies didn't want anything because of the threatment but I ordered a toast with ham and cheese.
But I wish I followed ladies and didn't order anything, taste was awful and too much oil.

Il fait dérider les serveurs mais après ils sont très agréables. Le lieu est propice aux souvenirs des grands personnages passés par là. On y mange le midi quand on descend en vacances 2 à 3 fois par an et le budget est très raisonnable. On a eu la chance de pouvoir converser plusieurs fois avec des personnalités du show biz en toute simplicité.

Waiting 5 minutes before waiter arrived with no smile and greeting. "What do you want?" is what he could say. Ordering drinks we asked for the menu also and after 10 minutes we received the drinks and the menu cart was thrown on the table.

L une des places mithyques du village. Tarifs abordables. Plats simples.
