Saw promising reviews online and was hopeful when i walked up. Looked like a nice quirky little café/bistro but the disappointment hit with my entrée. I got the cassolette d'escargot crême d'ail and it tasted sandy/dirty. I think they didn't wash the leeks properly and since the creme was thin & bland all I could taste was the dirt. My plat was better, onglet de boeuf poêlé sauce marchinal de vin. Decent beef with a nice sauce but served with generic deep fried diced potatoes & green beans. All in all, not really worth the price especially with the numerous restaurants in Paris to choose from. Save your stomach for something truly delicious.

Always a good time.
Also the wine list is quite impressive and very well thought out. Good steaks as well.

We came late and the owner told us they only had two dishes left on the menu. We took one of each and one glass of wine. The food came out and it was completely INEDIBLE. One of the dishes was a "seared" tuna and the second a duck. I am certain that the "duck" was not duck. There are not giant bones in duck. It was an overcooked dry beef that could barely be cut with the knife.
Both were so dry we couldn't chew the bites we took. My friend had her spit out bite next to the plate. We told the waiter and the owner came to talk to us but what happened was a childish interaction in which he didn't listen (I spoke French to him when he refused to speak English with us). He told us "it's normal" "it's fine" and he walked away. He didn't even say anything else except that we were wrong about the food???????? He walked away and we were like wait what? We called the waiter over and asked him to get his boss again because we would like to pay for our wine and service. The owner came over and he CALLED THE POLICE.
As we were sitting there in shock that this was happening, the owner was pacing around and FILMING US with his iPhone. The tables next to us were in disbelief and filming when the police (5 of them!!!!!!) came over to our table. The police told us we have to pay and we agreed. Upsetting but wow this owner called the police because we said we couldn't swallow the food! We weren't running out of there. We were telling him it was bad. Could have tried again with the food but he just said nothing and walked away from us. So we ended up paying for this joke of anything called food in humiliation and then the owner LAUGHED at us on our way out.

Excellent terrace for a drink and a conversation. I came here alone for a beer and ended up with a 2 hour conversation with a Macedonian Australian visiting his son.

A wonderful place to eat lunch or dinner. The servers are excellent and provide great suggestions as what to pick from the ever changing menu. the menu is absolutely delightful. The only restaurant in Paris where one can order a Coke Zero and get a Cote de Rhone in its place. A really delightful mistake. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a wonder day or evening.
