Was loud music until 6am in the morning and the shower and other facilities were dirty and smelt bad, location was good, was near the beach

I was here in August when it was packed. Cycle tourists get tiny pitches very close together. Wifi didn't work - not once. On the other hand they charged my tablet for free and they have nice activities for children. The picnic tables in the cycling section are possibly on the roof of a WW2 bunker which was interesting. Hope no one died there.

Le seul avantage de se Camping est qu il est ouvert toute l anné et qu il n est pas cher mais sinon... Aller plutot au Fief ;-)

I feel a bit mean giving this two stars - but when compared to other sites in the area it really doesn't deserve four. We spent two nights here with our 3 and 5 year old girls and spent the our full day in the middle looking for another site to stay on.
First of all, this site feels like it has a lot of "seasonaires" and we felt a bit like we were putting our campervan in the middle of a trailer park. There were no motorhome services which was a pain and people liked to use our pitch as a footpath - oblivious to personal space. If the campsite had made it so there wasn't a gap at the end of it then this wouldn't have happened.
The pool area is small and always busy - yet clean and very welcoming. The childrens play area was also small but it was nice that it was enclosed in the same area as the bar so you could have a beer while being on hand.
There seemed a lot of activities for the kids - but ours are a bit young for that (if they were native french speakers i would have got them stuck in).
The beach access is to the estuary - not particularly pleasant or near so we didn't use it.
The staff were wonderful, everyone (despite my above observations) were friendly and the campsite was quiet when you expect it to be. Its also cheap compared to surrounding sites.
I guess if you had older french speaking children who could participate in the kids clubs then this would be a more suitable desination - but for British family travelling down the Brittany coast in a campervan, then you may want to keep going south a bit to below Pornic.

A beautiful location set withing trees on the coast - cyclist pitches are separated by bushes and are a decent size - amenities are clean and well appointed.
