If your going to Le Puy en Velay this is the very best location, right underneath the the incredible 'Roche er Saint -Michel-d'Aiguilhe' chapelle . Really pleasant and helpful people. The campsite is ideal for touring campers, caravans & motorhomes, this is not a holiday resort! Whilst not large it is flat and we'll organised. Facilities are very adequate and clean. We stayed 3 nights, you need this time to explore the fabulous old town. Warning though, it is built on the side of a mountain so lots of steps & steep inclines, that said it is a fabulous place and not one to miss on your travels.
I would give the site 5 stars without hesitation, but for the facilities which are a little tired and need a lick of TLC. But don't let that put you off from visiting the site.
My wife (who travelled with a broken wrist in plaster at the time) & I had a really pleasant stay and wish to thank the Bouthezard family.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, beaucoup de sites classés à visiter à peu de km du camping. Les gérants Catherine et Samuel ont toujours le sourire, en plus d'être très compétents. Même s'il y a quelques inconvénients, ont les oublis très vite. Et nous avons assisté à un superbe feu d'artifice. Pour ceux qui viendront l'année prochaine. De plus ce n'est pas qu'un lieu de passage. Il y fait bon vivre plusieurs jours. De la part de Normands

Personnellement, nous avons apprécié notre escale dans votre camping. Nous sommes en camping car et nous n ' avons rien eu à redire. Vous êtes idéalement situé pour visiter les principaux monuments du puy. Et même, le soir, on peut les admirer tout illuminé de votre camping. L' ambiance est sereine et reposante. Les sanitaires sont très propres. Et les deux jeunes qui gèrent cet établissement sont très sympa. Nous reviendrons avec un très grand plaisir.

Ive stayed here twice, once in 2014 and once 2015. Very good site run by helpful people. Excellent for access to Le Puy with great views. Although close to the train line I was not disturbed at night. Food was good too (although the kitchen is not always open, if closed just walk into town).
Highly recommended.

Unbeatable location. No tp in the bathrooms, so make sure you have some on hand.

The site is clean and tidy. The owner speaks good English and the site is well situated for the town and attractions

Lovely campsite. Excellent location. Very well kept by the owners, who were very helpful and pleasant. Planned to stay 2 nights but stayed for 7!

Its got great views of the Le Puys most famous monuments. Its small, quiet, got nice clean facilities and the staff could not be more helpful. I turned up on my motorbike today unannounced and they have been great. English speaking for the linguistically challenged like myself and just really nice people. I will definitely come here again if im back in the area.

Super camping, les gents sont très sympa ! Devant 4 ans on était là ! L'année prochaine 2017 on reviendra sur et serait !
