Facilities were fantastic, best over ever been to. Lovely site. Only downside I guess is the pool isn't particularly child friendly (no slides etc like in other French campsites) but that wouldn't put me off going again

Fabulous campsite! Staff are friendly and helpful and all speak very good English. The pitches are spacious and the toilets and showers are clean. There is plenty for children to do and the feel of the campsite is very relaxed. We were lucky enough to arrive on a day that the owner hosted a communal BBQ which was great fun and we got to meet lots of interesting people. This was our first time but i would definitely return.

We've stayed here on a number of occasions during 24 heures du Mans & Classic Le Mans.
Dominique & staff are wonderful hosts at this beautifully maintained campsite.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Le Sarthe

Only stayed for one night as we headed back to UK. Beautiful chateaux and grounds which were well maintained. Pool small but very pretty, nice walks around the woods/lake. Clean modem toilet blocks, and very friendly girl showed us round (believe part of the family - can tell it's family owned, and they want people to enjoy their stay)

We only stayed here for one evening as an overnight stop on our journey but we wish we had spent longer here to fully enjoy it. We had a lovely walk through the woodland and our daughters had a fabulous swim, albeit they said the pool was a bit chilly! We enjoyed a nice drink in the evening lounging on lovely rattan furniture in front of the chateau and felt more relaxed than we anticipated.

We love it here, it's friendly and relaxed with good facilities. The pitches are spacious and have great views of the chateau and park. Fantastic and safe for children, with a swimming pool, play park, bouncy castle, trampoline and a well run kids club. The owners are fully hands on and very, very welcoming, they even organise barbecue's with drinks and apperitifs on the terrace.

Beautiful grounds, excellent facilities and friendly, enthusiastic staff make staying at Château du Chanteloup a joy. The location feels serene, but amenities are still close enough to be convenient. We’ve stayed several times (always for Le Mans Classic), and it gets better every time.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our holiday. The campsite owner was very welcoming and helpful and gave us a great pitch in the shade as we were in a tent. It's has great facilities and for those who are interested their is a lovely 3 mile run around the campsite following the roads.
