Went out of season when it was cheaper and not as busy as I would expect during summer, wonderful campsite, good pool, close to beautiful beaches and ports, loved waking up to the sunrise and watching the sailing from the deck

WiFi is completely useless, but hej, who needs WiFi during holidays?

Excellente vacance ! A refaire absolument ! Courer au Poun's ils sont excellent et agréable. L'accueil du camping répond à toute vos questions avec le sourire.

We have stayed at the campsite for one week and have enjoyed the direct view at the Atlantic ocean very much. A road is situated next to the campsite on which traffic is audible during the day. Because the road is a scenic road to Port Maria, it is mainly driven by sight-seeing cars and motorcycles. Although we were situated directly adjacent to the road, the noise did not bother us although opinions may vary. At night, traffic usually reduced to zero with only an occasional car passing at night.

Nearby cities such as Vannes, Lorient and Aurey offer a lot of history, atmosphere and room for further discovering France.

The other side of the island offers an even more scenic road along the Cote Sauvage (wild coast) which features high cliffs, secluded bays and beaches, high waves and if it's your thing, bunkers located in the dunes.

The great part of the camping is it's location. Many, many different beaches are within a hand's reach. The beach directly across the road is mostly used by camping visitors but the Pointe Conguel offers three additional beaches. When following the very scenic walking path to Port Maria, you'll discover the many other beaches and small bays available. Port Maria itself is a very nice beach town well worth many visits.

A recommander.

Personally, I liked the old pool and thought the new one made it forcefully blend into 'modern'. Food, staff and entertainment are unlike anything else I have ever seen. But the old pool and slide was better. Also, lots of ants but hey, Quiberon.

If you're looking to avoid meeting you're country fellowmen on holiday, you should definitely stay at Camping du Conguel which is 'inhabited' mostly by French citizens like the rest of Quiberon seems to be. (If you're looking for a nice quiet campsite, located at the very tip of Quiberon, go there too.)
