Great place, little busy but quite at night. Endless activities inside and outside the camp.

Aux Moules is an excellent and very reasonable price mussels bar! Also with prawns, calamari, sardines. But don't come here if you don't like shellfish!

Lovely campsite. Very French. Very few English people. Really chilled atmosphere. Excellent pool. A perfect base for chilling out and body boarding.

Good on site facilities, great pool area with slides, and lots of other onsite activities for kids, has entertained our kids for 2 weeks. Pizzas from the on site restaurant are very good. There are a number of nice restaurants within walking distance in hourtin plage plus a superb beach.

Had an amazing time here. Met tons of new people. Great location right near the beach and nice entertainment venues. 5 star camping resort.

Fairly new cabins, basic but clean.

Prices are very very high, and everything costs extra, for example, if you want an extra vehicle on the pitch is is and extra 13 Euros per night.

Amazing camping, clean facilities, amazing swimming pool (though no shorts allowed), amazing beach to swim and surf in. The area is great for cycling and jogging, but when you want to enjoy the night life there isn't much to do other than the 2 bars that stay open till 2a.m.

The pitches are reasonable size and the local beach is good. Phone reception is poor, and the internet facilties such as wifi are very expensive and very heavily over subscribed making it unusable. The mobile Phone data network was also heavily oversubscribed making it unusable.

For kids it's the best place to stay for vacation. Right at the sea. Huge campus. Even have a supermarket.

It's the location that makes Hourtin Plage special. Campsite is spacious, shaded under pines trees, good (if expensive) mobile homes, most with a covered deck.
Fantastic pool area and playground for kids. Tho sunbeds at pool very sadly lacking.
Pity too that you have to pay for tennis courts, when I think reception could operate a simple reservation system.
Rent your bikes from campsite, much better bikes and same price as other operator in the village.
Gym is also good, no free weights but good equipment.
Wifi is woeful in campsite. And in general, in the area, basic phone coverage is very poor. Absolutely non at beach.
Best wifi is at the Au Grillion restaurant.
Avoid campsite restaurant.
Best pizza in the small bakery closest to campsite.

Avoid this place if you need internet on holiday:

The staff are nice and very friendly, it is close to the beach, facilities and clean and there is lots on offer.

Large and excellent camping space. Aqua park with water park included. Swimming pools for relaxing but without a swimming lane. Camping area with mobile homes and between them lot of camping space. Pine wood area, sometimes sandy spaces.
