Camping funtana

CAMPSITE: GOOD ; gravel ground; a lot of shaded, nice places separated by boulders and rocks, swimming pool EXCELLENT, small shop and restaurant OK

So in general if you are looking for a good Camping in Porto, this is the one and only good option. It is way better than the others which are situated more in the center of Porto which makes them more crowded, noisier and more "commercial".

PRICE: COULD BE MORE FAMILIY FRIENDLY.... BUT GENERALLY - OK

As in the title - good for bigger families. But if you are a backpack traveller, you can get sometimes annoyed by the amount of people there beside of the things I wrote above.

Toilets and other facilities are nice and clean.
WiFi is available for free but the quality is far from good.
There is a bar available with beer etc and where one can buy some basic food stuff (EXPENSIVE) and order a pizza (around 10 EUR).

Family with kids. Very nice campsite with a very relaxed atmosphere. Terrace campsite with all sizes of places. Sanitairy is fine. Many showers and clean.

FACILITIES & TOILETS: GOOD ; but as in all corsican campings NO toilet paper, NO soap (!!!)
STAFF: english speaking, nice, helpfull

Nice camping

Funtana a l'Ora is also quite full in the full season, but it's big and it has many trees (they give a lot of nice shade) and other obstacles, like huge rocks, which makes the places for tents a bit more private. One can hide a bit and have some privacy.

LOCALISATION: VERY GOOD ; many quiet places on the camp; no direct acces to sea but enough close by car, direct acces to natural swimming pool in the river - MARVELLOUS !!!

Quiet, clean facilities, car parking right next to the tent possible, wide area in terraces, really friendly welcome. A lot of shadow from big trees and electricity almost everywhere. They also have a pool and a place to play table tennis.

Great place and great staff at Camping Funtana a Ora! I've been there just for one night traveling with my bicycle and arriving on 18.Oct.2017.
Thank you for the hospitality and most of all thanks to the people coming from Targu Jiu ;).
On a next vacation in Corsica I will definitely return at Camping Funtana a Ora as I heard they have a delicious pizza also.

OTHER: wi fi -free but extremely hard to log in, electricity - free :-)
