The 1 star is not for the site itself as we didn't even make it that far, it's for the ridiculess route getting there, tightest bridge I've ever drove under and a hill which we couldn't climb in a small light turbo diesel motor home. Carvans have no chance. This review is more a warning than anything, I wish someone had warned me. Had to undertake a crazy reverse up a tight lane and back through the bridge, missing it by about 5mm. All while a very kind French couple stopped the traffic for us, for which we are trully greatful.

Wonderful few days. Restaurant not as good as other Huttopia sites we have been to. Accomodation clean and serviceable (although no bottle opener in kitchenette). Children enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. Staff very friendly and efficient.

No grass or hard standing on pitches, therefore very muddy when raining, new toilet block half built.
The site is quite difficult to get to if you follow sat nav due railway tunnels too narrow or to low for caravans

Very friendly staff and helpful, they answered our questions in english. Merci! Sanitaire were great with warm water. Beautiful camping. Nice swimming pool, playground, café, kids area. Tennis court and pingpong area available and free to use. Wifi only available at the reception and café. You can order fresh bread for breakfast.

Both myself and girlfriend love indigo especially the big set up tents. This was a nice site with friendly staff, but the lack of the cafe being open was annoying especially given the lack of decent restaurants locally.

FOR CARAVANS: Driving here, GPS will guide you to the small uphill roads inbetween houses which is very hard to drive during busy hours or if you have a small car. For better access, it's best to call HCR. There are signs at the big road but hard to see.
