Fantastic pool. We stayed in a mobile home which was very clean and had everything we needed.
The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was lovely. Fantastic pizzas. It would have helped to have the menu in English as well as French and Dutch, but the waitresses were very helpful and spoke good English.
The campsite is located 10 or 15 mins walk away from Lake Annecy, but this wasn't a problem for us as we had a car.
The scenery all around the campsite was stunning and there are lots of gorgeous places to visit in the area.
Our only big gripe was that, on a few nights, the disco buggy drove around the campsite at 20:30 playing extremely loud music to round up the children for the kids disco. I understand that children often stay up late when on holiday, but when you are trying to get them to sleep early so that they will be able to get up early for a day trip, this unnecessarily loud noise was very annoying!
The main attraction for us was the pool, with so much aqua fun. Both of our children (6 and 3) had an amazing time in both the children's area and the bigger slides. I would suggest that the areas around the pools could do with more of an anti-slip flooring as we slipped a few times, despite walking sensibly, but the pool area lived up to our expectations and *made* our stay at Camping L'Ideal.

We had a pleasant time at this camping. The view from our mobil home was amazing. The kids had a good time at the swimming pool. The mobil home was also clean and there was enough space between our neighbours. The personnel was also very friendly and helpful. Only positive things to this camping!

Séjour 1er mai 2017. Malgré une météo capricieuse, ce court séjour fut agréable dans ce camping, nous n,avons pu apprécier toutes les installations, celles-ci n'étant pas encore fonctionnelles. Il serait souhaitable d'insister beaucoup plus sur le tri sélectif!!! (que de bouteilles plastique à la poubelle...)

Clean living, Friendly staff, Great for kids to play on flumes in pool etc. Would of given 5 stars if TV in rooms

Tightly packed on this site. No need, just poor management of space. It's €2 for a litre of milk in the site shop. 83c in local Carrefour. Pizzas from the restaurant are average. Good pools though.
