Good campsite, good facilities and big pitches. Swimming pool, crazy golf, games room, bar, restaurant and shop on site. Only down side is its 30 minutes drive to anywhere you may want to visit.

Kids room / games area / sports activities/ football field / crazy golf - Don't expect too much from the kids and games room. As the pictures show, the place is very tired and has very little for kids to do. There are some table tennis tables and a table football table, a tv with dvd player and a few DVDs but that's about it. All the equipment for the activities can, I believe, be borrowed from the reception.

Pitch- We stayed in a camper van and had a tent pitched up next door and there was plenty of space. The electrical hook up worked well and there were no problems. Whatever you are looking for in terms of pitch, I would feel safe in saying that this site has something for everyone (shady, sunny, private etc).

Some of the fixtures are very dated and it is obvious that no cleaning has happened for a long, long time in certain parts of the camp (the clubhouse with the TV, the kids room, the kids play area and the toilets by the pool), but this campsite is a real gem, and is well worth a visit.

Epicerie- Open from 8am -12 and then 5pm until 7.30pm.
If you are staying for a few days, make sure you place your order for the following day and your croissants can be reserved for you by the man or woman working in the shop. I would recommend this, as sometimes if you are late getting up, all the best croissants could be gone.

Showers and toilets - Excellent! The showers are very powerful, they all worked well and there is more than enough space to enjoy a great shower any time of the day. Check out the pictures I have posted. The toilets are cleaned every morning at about 6am and we never had any issues with smells emanating out into the shower area and campsite. There were always more than enough toilet rolls and it was good quality paper. Very clean!

Lovely site, everything you need. Nice big flat pitches. Staff very friendly, Great for dog walks

Wifi - The wifi is very good. I watched BBC iPlayer episodes and streamed international football matches throughout my trip with no streaming issues at all. The only issue with the wifi is that you have to log on each time you use the internet (it won’t remember your device and stay connected), but this takes seconds, so no real drama.

This was quiet but we were there in September, lovely facilities but perhaps a bit dated. The tennis court was fun, the ball could bounce anywhere.

The bar - Never went inside, but it did look busy when we passed. Opening times are listed on the door.

Un des meilleurs campings que nous avons fait! Les sanitaires sont propres, il y a pleins de jeux pour les enfants, le personnel était très gentil, la piscine chauffée est magnifique et le bar dans le colombier est très joli. L'ambiance est calme est détendu.
Bref, super pour faire du camping en famille!

Overall our stay at Camping Le Colombier can be described as VERY good.

The epicerie also offers a couple of different varieties of wine, some cheese, beers, soft drinks, papers (which I think can also be reserved), crisps (chips), biscuits and a few other bits and pieces. Basically, if you are short of something, the epicerie may well save you a trip to the local village. The cost of goods is, as would be expected, higher than local shops and supermarkets, but to give you an idea the croissants are about 1 euro each and the wine was about 5 euros. Yes, 'expensive' but if you are short....

Tranquil, aqueille de tous âges. Nécessite une voiture, mais équipe sympa !

Washing up area / washing machines / tumble dryers - The washing up area has numerous places to wash up and there is both hot and cold water. Again, very clean and reasonably well maintained (no dripping taps etc).
We did not use the washing machines or tumble dryers, but we did see one person using them, and it was a very simple process (instructions on top of the machines). I believe you need a token and this can be obtained from the reception. They would also more than likely help you if you had any problems.

Swimming Pool - Beautiful pool in a great location. There were some insects in the pool, but the campsite is in the middle of a lot of a forrest, so what do you expect :)

Pleasant campsite near to the town of Cormeilles. Good clean facilities and a small shop which sells bread and a small selection of other goods. WiFi is available as is a nice heated swimming pool set in beautiful surroundings.

La Creperie - Awful! Give this place a wide berth. Lazy staff that have no idea about decent quality food let alone good quality food. We ate here once, and that was enough. The food was so poor that I have forgotten what I ate. In our time there, we didn't see anyone else eating there, and the place was empty pretty much every night. Trust me, do not waste your time.
