Wouldn't stay again.

After queing for 25mins at reception with children waiting in the car and a ferry to catch it turned out that the check out process involved the only reception staff on duty going to our pod to make sure it was clean enough for someone to move into in a couple of hours. If we'd known this we would have left it as such, as it happened they inspected the pod (bit untidy, sand on the floor etc.) And decided it would cost us €60 to have cleaned.

Very attractive site.

The only tumble drier didn't work and no refund of the €5 put into it was forthcoming. Lots of wet washing to deal with in a rainy 24hrs.

Quite clostraphobic feeling site as all of the hedges are so high and relatively close (tight roads very well encompassed plots.

Lots of things broken in our tent pod thing. Which was otherwise quite cool.
Small things, but a deck chair that collapses underneath you because a bolt falls out and had been replaced by another bolt which was too short is actually pretty dangerous with a crawling baby around.

There are not enough showers for the number of people and the toilet block is not cleaned. There was no hand soap in the dispenser for the 4 days of my stay. There are no sinks to rinse out clothes so people hand wash in the same sinks you clean your dishes.

One of the nights the restaurant had a lively quiz which was a bit noisey at 11:20pm, small amounts of noise don't bother us too much so we didn't mind. My husband and I stayed up playing cards on the same night, quielty talking and we were asked by security to be quiet! I couldn't believe it!!!!!

Small, expensive, unfriendly staff & a horrible toilet block. A unpleasant campsite opposite an active quarry that starts work early in the morning. Avoid this site, unfortunately nothing else in Le Crotoy looks any better. Check out ukcampsite co uk website for more bad reviews on this site

We have just returned from Le Ridin. We had a wonderful stay. So peaceful. The site is perfect if you want an uncomplicated stay. Cycleway straight into Le Crotoy and they rent bikes on the site. Just perfect we will be back next year.

I wouldn't have mentioned any of this and would probably have given the site a 3 had it not been for our check out experience.

Aardige camping met vriendelijk personeel.
Als je afgeschermde plekken prettig vindt, zal het je hier bevallen. Voor de (kleinere) kinderen was er wel een speelveld, maar hier konden ze niet zelfstandig heen, omdat er op de camping veel met auto's en campers wordt gereden en de paden erg onoverzichtelijk zijn.
De paden en plaatsen zijn krap, waardoor wij moeite hadden om er met onze caravan van 8m doorheen te komen.

I stayed at this campsire at the end of July on 2017. I've stayed in a few yelloh! Villages as I have two children (4 and 1 years) and this is by far the worst.

Horiblle la picine elle est salle tout le temps
sinon les mobilome tres bien

Our timing leaving the site was unusually pretty good and we had allowed 15mins to drop the keys and pay the bill.

We had to catch a ferry, which thanks to this delay we missed, and that's without spending time going back across the site to sweep the floor and tidy up.

The toilets next to the reception block have drainage issues and stink. On 2 of the days we stayed there was no water to flush the toilets but no our of order sign was placed on them so people kept using them and filling them and were unable to flush their waste away. It smelt horribly.

The pool is small and always crowded and often doesn't have a life guard.

Personnel très sympa, camping calme un peu éloigné de la ville du Crotoy. Pour les camping caristes, necessité de posséder des vélos prix correct au regard des prestations

Lovely small site! Good location for bike rides!



A pretty rubbish end to whatvwas otherwise a nice holiday. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Next to a noisey gravel pit. 8-5 weekdays sounds like a busy road next door.

The pool was dirty and overcrowded whenever the sun was out.

The only good things about this campsite are the friendly reception staff and the nice clean pitches which are slightly bigger than average and nice and flat.
