Very nice and friendly owners. Relaxed athmosphere. Near to the river but also near to Ganges and Laroque, which both should be visited. Good prices and free wifi.

Late in the evening 20.00 hours we arrived at this camping Le Tivoli and there were many places free , we could see that. We travel by motor with sidecar but the lady at the reception said that there was NO ROOM for a small tent. We said please but she did not want us! Very sad
We call that a K.U.T. Camping

But above all, it's main attractive was the young French-Italian couple managing the place (summer 2015), who were not only very helpful, hard-working and competent, but also very knowledgeable about the region, what to see, do and look out for, and had plenty of tips and suggestions, no matter what out plan happened to be. They really did go out of their way to make campers feel at home and make the best of their stay.

Pleasant little campsite by the river (literally, as in park twenty meters from the water). We spent a week there and were very pleased. Simple and unpretentious, and very reasonable prices. More of a quiet, family type place, lights off and sleep mode at 11pm, and no drunk, testosterone-spilling youth. In the summer, you might coincide with groups of children or teens on field trips or summer camp, but in our case, they were well behaved and not much of a nuisance.

Super Camping, les propriétaires sont très accueillant, l'entretient du camping était plus que satisfaisante, aucun problème à signaler.
Merci encore pour ce séjour.

Besides being extremely grateful for how friendly and attentive they were, we have a great souvenir of the laughs we had, the stories we exchanged and chats we delved into in the evenings. We look forward to seeing them again, either in Ganges or elsewhere.

P.S. Note to all campers: campsite managers are people too, who usually live at the campsite during the season, work hard, all day long, and have to stay there 24/7. Try to respect the reception's opening hours (as in don't wake them up at midnight because yoù fancy a cold drink or would like a hotter shower) and don't turn to them for EVERYTHING, as there are dozens of other campers besides yourself and you can surely tell your neighbours yourself that the smoke from their BBQ is blowing straight into your RV, for example ;) Hotels are where you get pampered, campsites are for self-sufficient adults ;)

Super vacances

Camping bien situé à Laroque près de Ganges, directement accessible à la rivière où on peut se baigner. Accueil très agréable et tarif emplacement pas très cher. Possibilité de faire des courses en vélo ou à pied.
.

Don't expect a 5 star resort, because that it isn't, but the reasonable prices and extremely friendly staff made it a very worthwhile stopover (it was going to be for one night and ended up being a week). Can't think of anything to reproach, really. You get what it says on the tin. Plus, this is a municipal campsite owned by the town hall, so you'll be paying half the price of a privately owned enterprise and getting the same services and facilities. Freshly baked bread every morning and pizza delivered straight to our pitch were also a bonus.

A bientôt ok !!!!!
