The website photos make it look lovely - but it's unrecognisable in real life! The pods that are advertised are hidden at the back of the site (they look new, though very small, and placed right next to the residents).

Camping agréable malgré un manque d'installations pour les enfants. Le camping donne sur une voie dangereuse (pas de trottoir , ni de protection) où les voitures circulent à vive allure. Pourtant il est noté qu'il s'agit d'un chemin... Déçu...

We kozen voor deze camping om de tuin van Monet te bezoeken. Op de website zag de camping er wel mooi uit, maar in het echt viel het tegen: weinig plaatsen met schaduw, zeer gedateerd en onsmakelijk uitziend sanitair en afwasgelegenheid, de receptie zat in een aftands gebouwtje. Kortom, het bezorgde ons een onprettig gevoel.
In het weekend kwamen de bewoners van de seizoenplaatsen en dat bleef niet onopgemerkt. Ze waren zeer luidruchtig.
Dit was voor ons één keer en nooit weer.

The pitch itself was big, and though not particularly well maintained, there was plenty of space. Unfortunately, we couldn't leave all of our stuff out as we would at other sites, because we felt we needed to lock things up.

1 star because I have to... though we were given plenty of information upon arrival - a map of the local area, directions to the supermarket and in to the local towns, which was appreciated (we wanted to get out for as long as possible!).

We chose this site so that we could visit Monet's garden - the location for that is good, but there is no other reason to stay here. Everyone else seemed to stay one night and leave, probably doing the same thing. Unfortunately, moving the second night would have ruined our plans, so we decided to brave it. We had absolutely no sleep due to the noisy neighbours before having to travel all day home.

Facilities are very dated, portaloo style toilets and showers, and not particularly clean washing up facilities. There are some interesting caravan/hut constructions and shabby holiday homes for the residents.

Very friendly and helpful reception and clean facilities. Quiet and peaceful. Not much to do for children. A long walk from the beautiful little town of Vernon, so we felt a bit isolated.

Agréable pour une nuit. Calme. Aire de jeu pour enfant quasi inexistant. Les sanitaires ont fait leur temps. Rien de prévu pour la toilette des bébés Prix très abordables. Personnels très accueillant.

The full time residents make this site feel unsafe and very noisy. We spent two nights listening to them play music, get very drunk, fight and have noisy sex!
