The shop is expensive, but (I believe) more caters towards guests who forgot to buy something when they were in town and find the other shops closed. There's a supermarché on about 10 minutes driving (in Gerardmer) and, if you need it, a Decathlon on about 40 minutes (in Saint-Dié).

A great camping! Its location next to the Lac de Longemer is beautiful, with plenty of oppurtunity to walk in the vicinity of the camping without having to get in the car. The pitches are large, the staff at the reception and camping shop is friendly and is proficient in English (I've also heard some speak German). On some evenings they have some (musical) entertainment near the bar, but they stop before midnight and usually have music that's no problem to have on the background.

Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Good prices. Doesn't get 5 stars as facilities are a little dated but if you can see past that a great place to stay.

Good low-budget camping. Not a lot of shade, but the places are pretty spacious. There is a playground for children and a big (clean) lake to jump right in. The sanitary is clean but old. Sometimes, the showers aren't warm. You can watch tv, drink a beer, eat a crêpe and do some groceries near the reception. Personnel is friendly.

Wij hadden de pech dat ze op zaterdag 7! bussen met studenten loslieten op het terrein. Daar waren we wel voor gewaarschuwd ná het inschrijven, maar ze zouden maar 1 nacht blijven. Dat die studenten er waren, was op zich geen probleem, de camping is groot genoeg. Maar waarom tot diep in de nacht die klere herrie? Echt niet normaal! Ik snap best dat zo'n camping zo eind september nog een graantje wil meepikken met zo'n grote groep, maar dan is het toch niet nodig om die muziek zó hard te zetten. Dat doe je je andere gasten toch niet aan!
Ze hebben nog een andere hele rare regeling: Aan de rand van het meer (dus echt pal aan het meer) hebben ze een aantal hele mooie plekken gereserveerd voor campers. Campers mogen overal staan (en stonden ook over de hele camping verspreid), maar caravans mogen dáár niet staan. Ze hebben 1 zo'n mooie plek opgeofferd om een serviceplek te maken voor campers. Zo zonde. Zo'n domme regeling. Ik ben bij de receptie gaan vragen of wij daar toch mochten staan. Er was maar 1 camper op dat moment. Maar dat mocht niet. Men zei dat alle plekken zicht hebben op het meer. Dat is inderdaad zo, maar alleen als er verder niemand is. Zodra er iemand met een caravan of camper voor je gaat staan, zie je niks meer. Het sanitair is netjes, maar wel aan vervanging toe.

Ça fait plusieurs fois que le ont viens ! Je vais commencer par le plus : lac avec le camping,réception bien ,snack un peux cher en plus il ne prennent pas les tickets restaurant. Le moins : sanitaire pas toujours nickel, douche il y en a qui il les prenne pour les toilettes, les évier pour toujours prope car il y a souvent des reste de manger ! Le pire s est quand il y a des jeunes ça fait du bruit jusque 2/3/4h du matin il faudrait que les jeunes il les places tous ensemble ! Les gens ont pas de savoir vivre ! Avent il y a de ça dès année en arrière les campings été mieux ! Si il ne font rien pour tous ça il va aler en se dégradants et il vont perde des clients ! Moi ça fait des années que le ont viens mais l'as est bon car les 3 dernier année s est devenue du n'importe quoi.

Fantastic little place. Beautiful. Friendly staff, good prices, and little shop with bread milk etc and fresh baguettes and quassionts every morning. Really reccomend. Such a fabulous location and well kept site!!

Les sanitaires sont correct mais souvent un peu inondés. Les douches sont froides.
La boutique est pratique mais très chère, le snack est constitué de produit surgelés/congelés réchauffés qui sont servis dans un temps d'attente extrêmement long à un prix beaucoup trop élevé selon moi.
Le cadre du camping est sympathique, on peut se baigner facilement.

You can swim in the lake, and if you need suggestions for walking you can try to see if they still have the walking booklet Le Guide Rando by Hervé Thro at the reception. It's in French (so some Google Translate may be required), but it has some nice challenging hikes that are fun even for casual hikers that usually only walk flat routes.

The toilets (they have more normal toilets than the strange French ones) and showers are clean and warm (if you shower between 08h00 and 22h00). There's water taps every few pitches.

Lo malo es que hay muchos jóevenes alemanes que suelen ir al camping y forman mucho barullo hasta muy tarde y no me queda muy claro que el camping organice los sitios en función de ello.

El camping está bastante bien, el personal es amable y está en un lugar privilegiado, los sanitarios son correctos y los servicios adecuados (aunque no hay wifi).
