Very nice camping, it is clean from shower to toilet (all are free). Calm in a tree environment, you will spot some wild animals. Emplacement are big enough and price are good. It close every year from October to March so there are no annual resident there. People and owner are friendly, I wasn't disappointed at all!

Just wanted to ask something about the camping and if there was a spot, the owner came running out yelling and waving his arms, without even listening to what we had to say he told us to get off.. Or atleast thats what I think.

We spent one night in the beginning of April sleeping in a tent.
The campsite is along a very busy road with a non-stop noise of lorries and cars, night and day.
The site is surrounded by houses and anyone can come inside the camping at anytime as well as enter from the main entrance as there is no gate or anything to give you some security. At night there is a constant noise of a generator (a hospital is nearby) which if you sleep in a tent is a completely sleepless night.
During our night spent there we have been robbed by locals living around the area (it wasn't the first time that it happened). While sleeping in the tent someone lifted up our tent front and stole two panniers with our equipment and belongings.
Yes, maybe the toilets were very clean and maybe if you are in a caravan you can lock yourselves inside but if you sleep in a tent AVOID this camping. A camping which is not safe and in a quiet area shouldn't exist at all.

SKATING: The area and city around it are OK for skating( the asfalt is doable but nut the Dutch quality I'm used to, but a little bit better than most of the province.

Good pitch, friendly staff that spoke some English which was a godsend for me as my french is extremely limited. Hot showers, clean toilets with soap and a toilet paper roll outside the cubicles in case you forgot your own also worth noting there were separate male and female toilet/shower blocks which is not the case on some municipal sites.
I was travveling alone however I noticed there was a play area for children and also an outdoor ping pong table.
Cost €7 for one night with no electricity.

Simple site with clean toilets and lovely free showers. Near to the town centre (approx 25 min walk) with interesting fortifications. And a great value zoo too. Pitches are a bit sloping so levelling blocks required. Also tv reception not brilliant- take a dvd or two for entertainment! Enjoy a value for money municipal site.

It is what it is ok for a night stop as we have so many times clean and showers clean but very dark and could do with a few more lights at night to light the way

Perfect for the traveling cyclist, got a very friendly greeting, with an english/French speaking receptionist, which is a rare thing in France. Can pick any place on the grounds. Good facilities, and close to the centre of a beautiful city. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing to see the city, or just passing through

FACILITY: Neat camping.
Showers free, Clean toilet, water tastes like chloride but they do have a certification on drinkable water quality.
SOUND: one of the visitors whom'd let his dog free at night would start barking at the neighbours dog(S corner) super early. I think this camping should forbid to have your dog unleashed at night, then this problem would be solved
HOSPITALITY: Nice lady who really tries to speak English or slow French it you have a difficult question.
