Unusual site. Really just a small field with a toilet block. A guy comes around in the evening to collect the money. Quite cheap. Shop nearby. Facilities adequate.

This was pretty typical municipal camping in France: cheap, I think it was four euros for one person in a tent, bathrooms were adequate , hot showers, a little bit busy in the sense that there a lot of people camping here because it's a more touristy area I guess.

Very convenient to the town - just 3 minute walk - a compact municipal campsite with keen rates for cyclists - just 3 euros for me and the tent. No WiFi but the tourist office on the main street has free WiFi. Warden comes around at about 7pm to collect your payment. Convenient for the Voie vert running along the old rail track N towards Vire or S to St Hilaire

Really lovely little town. This small, quiet campsite is very close to the town centre, and there are two impressive waterfalls a short walk away. The campsite has basic but clean and functional facilities, and only cost us EU6 for a tent and 2 people. The showers were great! Would definitely go back.

Very exposed to wind from the south-west.

Simple and very inexpensive. Ideal overnight stop. Excellent sanitary block and electrical hook up available. Short walk to shops and hotels for eating.

This is the cheapest and best municipal campground I've been to in France! 5 euros total for two bike tourists and our tent. Really clean, nice bathrooms with great showers, and they have PICNIC TABLES! (So rare, yet so appreciated). The location is quiet and beautiful, close to the Cascade hiking trail and not far from the bike route, but it is still extremely close to all amenities in town. Well done, Mortain!
