Great camp site apparently been taken over from Municipal ownership. Work in progress to improve facilities but what is available now is very acceptable and spotless but dated. Large flat pitches. Pleasant town to walk into. What makes this site special is free fishing and canoeing on the river Vienne on which the site is situated. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice green campsite by the river and near the small town. Fairly basic facilities but very pleasant.

Petit camping au bord de la Vienne très calme paisible agréable avec des sanitaires de très haut de gamme est d'une propreté irréprochable possibilité de faire du canoë vélo un accueil super sympa de Monsieur et Madame Benjamin et Dorothe avec simplicité et chaleur

Pleasant Riverside site. Grassy pitches. Small shop. 5 minutes walk into town.

So so happy I found this place. Compared to other campgrounds super quiet super clean directly by the river and very inexpensive!!! Lovely town as well, do visit!

A very well maintained and quiet site with good toilet facilities. Welcoming english speaking hosts nothing is to much trouble. The river vienne runs by the site offering very good fishing oppertunities. WIthin close walking distance of local ammenities and facilities. Excellent value and will definatly come back for a longer stay to explore local area.

Its a beautiful campsite, our second time here and now we are staying 14 days. Just love it, and it is very close to the city Confolens.

Camping propre calme et au coeur du festival de Confolens !
Le personnel est très sympa et prête des canoë pour naviguer sur la Vienne

A well run lovely site witha beautiful river what you can swim in and canoe on free. Also free wifi and a lovely town in walking distance

Hele leuke en mooi onderhouden camping beheert door 2 heel aardige jonge mensen.
Mooie grote plekken waarvan er een aantal aan de Vienne liggen.
Het sanitair is prima onderhouden en schoon, voldoende douches en mooie afwas plaatsen.
's ochtends komt er een bakker op de camping, Colonfens ligt op loopafstand van de camping.
Electrapunten staan vrij ver uitelkaar dus voldoende kabellengte is handig.
