its very cramped in the houses, but the location is cool. has access to a beach and a really nice spot to watch the dawn. we had 6 people in a single house, so it was hard to get some alone time. if you have a tent, it is an amazing place to be.

Good points: right on beach. Right near a village. Quite close to some lovely lakes in the south. Kiddies club , play park and pool are great- exceptional .

Club enfant : Notre fils de 5 ans a été accueilli par une animatrice plus absorbée par son smartphone que par la prise en charge des enfants. Nous avons demandé à notre fils ce qu'il avait fait durant 2 heures. Il nous a répondu que les enfants faisaient ce qu'ils voulaient et que donc lui avait fait choisi de faire du dessin. Nous ne l'avons donc pas remis à la ......"Garderie" !!!!!

Animations : Pas d’infrastructure en dure, digne de ce nom pour un 4 étoiles. Un petit chapiteau avec des bancs en bois. Les spectacles sont surtout ridicules, d'une nullité affligeante. Matériel sono et lumière nul. Beaucoup de problèmes de larsen, les micros ne fonctionnent pas ou coupent souvent. Du coup, on entend rien. Nous avons eu une coupure de courant en plein spectacle. Pas de décors, pas de costumes. Bref de l’amateurisme.

Thanks for hosting us. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming, your customer service is superb! I really appreciated the fact most spoke very good English, the best I have experienced after visiting 4 different sites in France, thank you (from a non French speaker). Thanks also for the bottle of wine, I have never had that before, what a lovely surprise.

No hot water all week in the showers - this was was very disappointing.
The noise from another place on Saturday 19th August / Sunday till 4 am was unacceptably loud. Very relieved it only happened once or our stay would have been ruined. Why were they allowed to play music so loudly till 4am?
Very friendly staff at reception and in the superette. Good choice of food in the shop
Excellent 'service technique' team who helped us with our car problems three times very quickly. Please pass on our thanks again to them. They saved us!
Bearing in mind the large size of the campsite, we were impressed with the orderliness of it, tidiness and cleanliness.
We liked the recycling amenity.
We had a lovely holiday, thank you!

Bad points. Too much traffic on site means young kids can't play alone on bikes /skateboards . No speed limit signs and sharp turns mean it's dangerous and affects the safe atmosphere I've experienced on other sites.

This place offers both rental bungalows and camping spots. As a camper, my comment is that the showers aren't warm most times, and the other campers don't really respect the toilet facilities, which can be perceived as messy even though there is a cleaning crew twice a day. Camp sites are rather small and quirky with slopes, trees and loose sand (bring really long pegs). Lots of surfer activities, beach is right At the camping. Lots of entertainment, great pool (a little chilly when we were there). The shop has most you would ever need, and the restaurant makes great pizza.

This might be me just being picky but there was more litre floating around than usual. In the camp & on the beach.

En résumé : si vous avez l'habitude des 4 étoiles avec des infrastructures pro, des animations pro, une restauration pro,.... vous allez tomber bien bas dans cet ersatz de camping 4 étoiles.

Camping très agréable lors d'un séjour en hors saison. Idéalement situé avec un accès à une très belle plage.
Camping très propre, personnel gentil et multiples services présents sur le camping.

Restauration : Passez votre chemin. Pas clean, pas pro. Nous avons commandé des gaufres. On nous a servi sans aucun scrupule des gaufres complètement brûlées !

Camping mauvais ! heureusement que la restauration était bonne !! personnel et ambiance inexistantes ... piscine pas couverte et très froide !! pas de maître nageur! jeux pour enfants sales.. mobilhomes les uns sur les autres et très petits voir trop !! pas de TV...
Accès plage accessible qu'a certaines heures car marée haute toute la journée!! bref grosse déception pour un 4 étoiles !!!

The receptionists were all really helpful finding me an extra long electric cable when the nearest to my pitch was 20+ meters away.

Les emplacements sont plutôt petits. Nous n'avions pas de place pour garer notre véhicule sur notre emplacement (n°347) mobilhome.

Beach is covered from 3/4 tide and up. No lifeguards.

En 15 jours, nous avons eu 4 coupures d'électricité.

Beautiful environment and beach in the lines. Clear nights see sky full of stars.

Unlucky points; Our pitch was unlevel & 100% sand. This made getting the small van on & off a mission as sand was deep and wheels got stuck.

Playground was very run down Could do with an update as something else to do with small children when the weather is not so nice. Campsite location was a bit noisy for us but we got used to it

If you surf then be warned the surf is half the size of anywhere else, due to offshore sandbanks sapping the swell.

Habitués de passer des vacances dans un camping 4 étoiles près de La Palmyre, nous avons pu comparer. Bilan : TRES très déçus. Ce camping ne mérite absolument pas ses 4 étoiles et le prix payé. NUL !!!!
