I try to avoid this store as much as possible, although it is the largest and most modern Carrefour store near my home, because it is often very busy as it caters to both local residents (including two neighbouring high schools) and busloads of tourists. Alleys are often clogged by groups of people wandering aimlessly around and checkout is very often nightmarish. The choice of products has been improved though, it is not as tilted toward the low-end as it used to be.

Good place to do shopping while visiting Paris. Americans beware, Sunday hours are usual compared to American hours.

Stop by this supermarket for all your 'pick nick' essentials,
from cold beer to ready-to-eat hot meals such as sandwiches and rotisserie chicken this is the place I do my shopping when I'm the neighborhood.

Pros: accepts all credit/debit cards; wide selection on groceries and alcohol; they have a rotisserie section.

Cons: higher markup on toiletries -toothbrush/paste, lotions and shower gels; if you're on a budget buy store brand.
