Good for a fast Italian dish. Portions are plenty and fresh, but lasagna had to be warmed again.

We also had two glasses brought to our table for table water but no water jug arrived.

Great pizza restaurant. Excellent quality

The waiting staff couldn't be less interested either. One particular​ waiter, when we were paying, didn't thank us for coming and dashed off as if he was doing a drug deal when he gave us the receipt.

Their very authentic and delicious appetizers, dinners, and pizzas will please all guests.

Pizza and pasta are delicious here. The staff is friendly. If you don't like Italian food you will at least enjoy the nice view of the river and the basilica

We ordered a vegetarian pizza and a grilled salmon. The pizza was good and lot of vegetable. But the piece of salmon was too small. Overall we enjoyed the food and beer 1664.

The only redeeming feature was the food. In fairness though, Casa Italia sits in close proximity to another pizza restaurant (Di Marco's) which both my wife and I far preferred all round.

This shambolic service didn't appear to be contained to just our table unfortunately.

Disappointing - This place was recommended by the taxi driver on the way in to Lourdes.
When we arrived at the restaurant initially they suggested they didn't have a table free but we pointed one out to them that was outside and they allowed us to sit down.
Lesson for Life - If a waiter in a busy restaurant takes your order without writing anything down, it's highly unlikely that he's going to get your order right.

I was correct, despite repetition of our order. I ordered a 1664 Blanc, got a Leffe Blonde. We ordered chips to share, none came. Those things I thought it was easier to accept, but I had to ask them to return the incorrect pizza as it had Anchovies and Artichokes on it (who does that to a pizza).

If you are a bit tired from daily activities, they also offer delivery service to Lourdes Hotels.

Casa Italia graciously presents wonderful Italian specialties.
Located mere steps from the Saint Michael gate (off Boulevard de la Grotte) makes it the perfect lunch or dinner destination before, during, or after your Sanctuary visits.

No apology for the incorrect​ pizza either.
