This is a great stopover site whether you are heading north or south.
Very picturesque chateau with a great bar, restaurant and takeaway.
One of the better sites we've been to in France.

The site has a good restaurant and take away for those lazy evenings.

Lovely spacious campsite Burgundy. Dutch owned. Cleaning staff give toilets and showers a thorough clean almost all through the day - the facilities are spotless. Excellent for cycling, flat around the River Soane, and by venturing further West the cycling among the vineyards is wonderful on very quiet lanes with great views. Shop on site and good pool. Not much in way of public transport so you need your bike or use the car. Pleasant walking near the site along the side of the River Soane. We keep returning as it is so fantastic.

There are also lots of quiet roads for cycling and some.excellent greenways through the Burgundy region.

Just spent one week at Le Château de l'Épervière with the family, very impressed, relaxing atmosphere, clean and tidy site with plenty of hot water. I would go as far as saying its one of the best French sites I've stayed at.
Although the restaurant was in a lovely setting and did have great wine, we were made to wait nearly two hours for the food. I know we are in France, but this became ridiculous and when it did arrive, it was average at best.
Great well stocked shop and nice bar / terrace area.
Just avoid the restaurant and get take out from the same kitchen.

Ate at the restaurant almost every night during our stay. Nice food and excellent service from Charlie, Janneck and the team. Beautiful location and the very quietly lovely countryside round about adds to the experience. Either inside the vaulted chateau dining room or in the courtyard. Very good with kids as well. Well worth the price.

Small site, close to River Saone. Fishing lake on site. Level site with pools and bar. Good take away - pizzas or boeuf bourgignonne with chips! Nice bar with wifi. Quiet location, well situated for touring around. Enjoyed a visit to Chalon sur Saone and Verdun sur Saone. Pretty places.

A lovely countryside site right by the river Saone. Peaceful and spacious with a small shop, takeaway and restaurant. Didn't try the latter but the takeaway was a disappointment. It offered pizza... and beef bourginion and for that you had to take 2 saucepans!! Oh and frites...mustn't forget the dry tasteless frites. We opted to cook for the other 2 nights of our stay. I can't understand why such a well run site would make so little an effort. Would have given 3 and 1/2 stars really as pool was also quite small for the size of the site....

Great place to stay for a holiday. So many people stop here for a night as they travel further on, however I really recommend that you stay here for a period so you can explore the region. There is so much to see, drink and eat it's silly not too.

Beautiful, quiet site excellently tended and a good Eurocamp half way halt if you're heading further south from Calais. Eurocamp staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. Well done.

Despite deluges of rain in previous weeks, and an almighty thunderstorm that struck the moment we arrived at our pitch, our stay at l'Eperviere was delightful. We hadn't booked, but phoned a couple of hours before arriving and were told we could definitely have hardstanding for our motorhome - absolutely essential given the state of the ground. The area around the chateau was crowded with caravans, motorhomes and a few brave campers, but we were directed to a quiet site across the bridge over the pretty lake, and although many glamping tents around us were sodden, our pitch proved dry once the rain had stopped. The site has a pleasant restaurant and an excellent takeaway service for pizzas (to the delight of my husband!), and we could see that under normal circumstances it would be a lovely venue for everyone. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and all services were good, including the newer shower block close to us.
We took a circular walk to the river and were amazed at its size and fast flow. I really hope the site has a chance to dry out before the busy season of school holidays starts.

But perhaps the best element is the pitch size. Absolutely huge on all pitches.

The toilets are immaculate, with a cleaner there all the time it seemed.
