Definitely worth while to visit while you're here in Paris. There are some amazing stained glass art here. Long queues if you go during peak tourist season. You have the opportunity to go up as well and you'll see a great view of Paris (not free though). If you're a student in EU and 26 years old or younger, you can get in with your student ID and ID to prove your age.

Great thing about Paris, is it is very walkable. Walking along the Seine River, meandering around to this church was nice in itself. The early AM line went fairly quickly as it was not complicated by excessive security checks. Inside, people were respectful and I appreciated the areas of the church where it outlines the history of the structure. Take time to get behind the alter and peek through the windows to the downstairs.

Best part of our entire European holiday. Truly one of the greatest buildings ever to be built. I purposely made 3 separate trips back, just so I could take another look at it. I will be back, only next time with a proper camera!

We didn't go inside as the line to get in was super long. But we did take the time to walk along the entire gothic church. Such beauty and ornate design. You can even bring a picnic lunch and sit at the tables in the back. The view is spectacular and the people watching is great.

Beautiful. One of the proud experience as a catholic to visit this historic architecture. One have to wait in the cues for hours to get into this marvel of architecture but worth visiting it as this is one of the few things that can't be missed as a tourist in Paris.
The construction of this beautiful piece of French Gothic art took almost 200 years, watching the mysterious Gargoyles will take your breath away. The view from the top is stunning. Missing this place.

Beautiful building, but BEWARE of pigeon-mobsters, who offer grain to people, so they can make picture with pigeons. They charge 10€ for bit of grain. Come on, this is robbery, you can use bread from your breakfast and not feed these gangsters. I would prefer police chase them. One star down for it.

If you're in Paris, Notre-Dame is a must see. Iconic and beautiful. Beware of pigeon mobs outside, you are unlikely to see such pigeon population density again in your life. That said, unless you really hate pigeons, visit.

How can you put less than five stars here? Marvellous architecture, in all of its possible views: outside in front, to the rear (do not miss it, it is beautiful), inside with these giant ancient windows original at that old times. You must not miss to reach the roof either. Some stairs and there you are, gargoyles at one meter of distance or less, bells ringing very close, and a wonderful outstanding view on Paris. I just find too bad that there is not so much control at the roof. It is getting ruined by vandals fast..

Inside take a moment to see how huge it is. It's 130 m long and 35 m high.
The Rose Window is beautiful, as is the choir and the high altar and the organ.

Beautiful Cathedral, one of the most beautiful cathedrals in France.
The facade is amazing. Take your time to be amazed. See the gargoyles

The architecture and history is astounding and worth the time to check out all the nooks and crannies. Don’t rush through this place.

After that, stand in line to enter the cathedral. It's free and worth the wait. (It took us about 15 minutes to enter.)

A beautiful Gothic church, one of the most famous out there! There is so much detail and work that has gone into it, even if I don't always understand the significance of some of the symbols (why are there lobsters?). Well worth checking out, and there is a lovely plaza where you can just sit and admire some history.

When we got to the Cathedral the line was easily a city block long I really didn't want to wait in line for an hour. As we stood there it started to move pretty fast, free admission! I really enjoyed getting to participate in their service, the Church is still actively worshiping Jesus and displaying generations of it's existence. On the circumference of the sanctuary there are displays set up for you to observe some historical and some are significant events of the church and nation. ie.Notable priests, Joan of Arc, etc. We spent 2 hours here could've taken more but were able to see everything and pick up a souvenir in the shop inside the church in that time.

The church is worth seeing just for the size on it's own. The cathedral blew me away with it's height and altogether architecture. It's an iconic sight to behold with your own eyes. The inside has many different room where you can go to see these pieces of art with religious undertones. There was a line in front of the church, which was mildly annoying, but not a deal breaker. I also enjoyed the garden behind the Notre-Dame. It wasn't too big, but was kinda fancy, which is nice.

Simply amazing! I’m not a fan of the chaos surrounding the outside nor the solicitation of money once inside, but it never felt uncomfortable.

Surprisingly, the tourist were allowed to walk around the entire cathedral while services were going on. This was not only distracting, but not respectful to the mass. The site itself was impressive, but without paying there is not much to see. Also the ushers during the service were borderline rude. While the collection was being taken, one basket was passed to us and we were able to make a contribution. Another usher came by a few seconds later and tried to pass the basket to us again. When we didn't put anything in to the contribution basket, we received several dirty looks and the usher receiving the basket jiggled the coins and then offered it to us AGAIN! All of this occurred DURING a service. I was very sad that this type of activity was happening in such a beautiful place.
