Had both lunch and dinner in this small restaurant during our stay in Saint Emilion. We timed our meals for low traffic times so their staff had enough time to assist non-French speaking Americans. Staff was always helpful, steering us to very good food and wine at reasonable prices.

Not extremely attentive service but I tasted a very nice home made pork terrine. I enjoyed my fish dish which was a rustic fish liver cooked in red wine. My Husband was not a fan of his duck which he felt was very fatty though to be fair it was a duck confit.. The bread was stale! A no no on our books..

Average food. Good wine. Quite expensive for what you get. The mixed dish with ham, cheese and terrine de paté was not great, we could not even finish. Staff is nice though. my suggestion would be to have a glass of wine there and then head somewhere else for dinner.

Nice decor. Food was good. Open red wines were good too. The waiter (manager?) was somewhat rude at times.
