Great hotel of real character, fantastic food and wine.

Good hotel. Rooms in the main hotel are large and well appointed but can suffer from noise from water running into the moat. Rooms in the newer section (4) are quieter but do not have the character. Food is good and staff very helpful and friendly. We have stayed here a number of times. Never been disappointed.

Very calm atmosphere and an unsurpassed dinner tasting menu. Life is truly beautiful at the Chateau.

Great Hotel, amazing restaurant.
Update July 2017: we visited again, our 4th time so far and even plan to return in September. Our usual room was updated with AC from last year, a welcoming addition for those hot and humid summer days. However, we did not need it during our stay, nights were cool and we slept with the windows open. The restaurant is first class, the service is excellent, and the food is consistently excellent.

Amazing environments. Good rooms. Too expensive restaurant though.

In my 35 years of living in Europe, rarely have I enjoyed such an experience. Polite, helpful front desk staff, exceptional wait staff, wonderful food. The waiters deserve a word here. Rarely have I seen such trained professionals. They are there when they need to be and are gone when they are not needed. They do not bug you every five minutes to ask if everything is OK. They do this for a living and are pros at it.

Nice hotel, but not five stars.

The food was very good, the deserts were delicate and delightful, the room first class. We brought chocolates from Pascal Caffet (Troyes), the reception staff stored them for us in their fridge. They also kept our cooler plugged in while we were out and them moved all our luggage and electric cooler to our room. What's not to like about being treated like they want us back? It was a wonderful experience, one that we will do again. My wife and I enjoyed the tranquility of the setting, the antique decorations, the big room in the Orangerie and the central air conditioning (vice air cooling systems seen in most places). If you are driving the Champagne road, this is a great place to stop.

Overnight stay with children. Rooms quaint old style Château. Food was amazing. Staff very friendly and not too formal.

Stayed here one night 21/916 while traveling through France. Everything was perfect. Room was clean and large, bathroom was excellent. Dinner at l'orangerie was amazing. We enjoyed a bottle of the local champagne prior to dinner at a table overlooking the moat as well. Overall perfect visit.
