My husband and I celebrated our first anniversay in France and while touring we stopped at the Chateau de Pommard for lunch.

This place is absolutely stunning and I throughly enjoyed the tour which covers the vineyards, cellar and a tasting. The gardens are also beautiful. However, the price of the tour is absolutely extortionate (€50 per person!!) and the wine even more expensive. It feels like a tourist trap that is extracting every penny from visitors to fund its Welcome Lounge and other unnecessary gloss.

Pretty place and good tour in English

Especially enjoyed our lunch, each course was paired with wine - tasting the favors of each wine, not to mention how tasty the food was as well.

I enjoyed the small art gallery and sculptures in the courtyard. After the tour we tasted a few of the wines which were harvest from previous years. We brought back a few cases of reds.

Excellent private visit by Simon who knows a lot about the Burgundy wines but also travelled around the globe and is very entertaining.
The wines are expensive but excellent!

Had a tour here on a hot day and felt sorry for the guide as he was wearing a full suit. This is a beautiful vinyard if a bit too tourist focused. It really did feel like it was geared to showing people around. Would recommend visiting. The gardens are very pretty.

Our guide was very friendly and informative, while going through the cellars, I learned how wine was stored, keeping track of the year it was harvest and then labeled.

Not the cheapest tasting experience, but it is a nice one. They booked us a tour appointment with an English speaking guide who was delightful. She was obviously passionate about the Burgundy region and its wines. We learned about different soil qualities that influence the vines, as well as how the harvest process happens. Fun tour.

Excellent place to visit to find out about wine, how it's produced and some great history.
The lady that gave us the tour was fantastic, her knowledge was spot on and the wine tasting at the end was delicious. I discovered pomace brandy here and have to say it's delicious.
Didn't feel at any point that we were being patronised or treated with condescension which at other places we did.

Also cool was the room full of old wine-making equipment, including a giant old grape press.
