Where’s the money gone? More rooms, state-of-the-art plumbing, a lift, air-con throughout (no more mosquitoes), a proper dining room with a great chef, new staff, a manager (Emilie) who is clearly devoted to Roussan and her role. Vladima on the front desk, Maria making coffee.

Chambre spacieuse (même pour les Tradition) et extrêmement propre.
Salle de bain grande et confortable.
Il manquerait un petit plateau de bienvenue ou au moins de quoi se faire un thé ou un café (nous sommes quand même a 180 euros la nuit).
Les extérieurs sont jolis mais manquerait un petit peu d'aménagement.
Une mention spéciale pour le restaurant qui vient d’être réaménagé avec une très belle cuisine privilégiant les produits locaux et un service aux petits oignons.
Nous retournerons ici bien volontiers pour gouter au menu du midi lors d'une balade sur Saint Rémy.

The chateau is pretty, I assume it is a big effort to keep up! The building was restored but it isn't luxurious, it feels like being at a big home. It is very relaxing, nice bed and linens, big room, gigantic bathroom, romantic, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious. It is an experience to have.

Here’s the good news – the calm relaxing atmosphere has not changed one jot. The tree-lined approach which so stuns new arrivals, the gentle 18th century chateau, the acres of understated watery gardens are unchanged.

C est un lieu exeptionnel et incroyable dans la campagne proche de Saint-Remy Le parc et le chateau sont magnifiques et hors du temps ils sont restes dans le charme du passe et des traditions provençales d autrefois
Il faut penser que Louis XIV est venu dans ce lieu avec son carrosse qui etait attele a des chevaux noirs avec toute sa suite cela a du etre un grand momment

This is the first time we have stayed at Roussan since their massive (e5m) refurbishment. To be quite honest I booked with some trepidation – I have returned too often to lovely hotels to find that they have been ruined by well-meaning ‘improvements’.

I can’t wait to return next June.
