This was a great little surprise! Great info about the history of chocolate, a demonstration midway and a delicious hot chocolate sample. Another great find in the museum pass.

Magnifique alternative aux Catacombes - My original plan was to visit the Catacombes, but I didn't buy a pre-paid ticket and so the wait for the Catacombes was very long. So instead of wasting the day, I decided to visit Musée Gourmand du Chocolat - Choco-Story. It was surprisingly not bad. Love learning how chocolate has evolved over time and how it's was seen by different cultures. The highlight was the live demonstration and the short chocolate-making class. I made chocolate to share with friends back home, but alas the chocolate didn't make it to the metro station. Sorry friends, it was just too good.

Was visiting from The States. As a chocolate lover, this place was interesting. The demo as anti-climatic so I would skip it if pressed for time. It was included in the Paris Pass, but I don't know if I would pay 11 Euros for entry. The elevator (or lift, as they call it) was part of the excitement at this museum.

I had SO much fun here! I came with a group of friends, and we spent about 3 hours learning all about the history of chocolate. My favorite parts were the live chocolate-making demonstration and the outfits made out of chocolate. Be sure to try the chocolat chaud - it's DELICIOUS!

Best to go on Paris Pass, available on Viator. Cute museum with history of chocolate, small demonstration at the end, can sample chocolate from other parts of the world. Kids enjoyed. Quick visit.

We did this with our Paris Pass and for a few Euros more we got an attelier to give our group a private instruction on chocolate making, where the kids made their own chocolates! Loved it!

Went to the Chocolate museum with a group of my students when visiting Paris from Canada. Compared to many other pastry or chocolate classes in the area, the school group chocolate making class here had the best prices, and included admission. The 90 minute class was excellent and my students had so much fun making different kinds of chocolate. They would have been up to more challenging techniques as well, but those were not offered to them as part of the student class, but that did not dampen the fun in any way. The museum itself took about 15 minutes total to walk through, and I don't believe would have been worth the price of admission. However, the chocolate demonstration in the test kitchen by the chocolatier was excellent, and there were many samples to taste that made it worth waiting for the demo. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves.

The museum is very small with not a lot of activity. The staff was very nice. My 5 year old only enjoyed the chocolate making workshop, which was about 15 minutes long. Besides that there was not much to do.
