Entrance on the ground floor is pleasant enough and gift shop ok. Display floors are below. Down to the first level and there is nothing other that a few random posters about surfing that seem out of place.

Beautiful place for meeting

Little or no clear direction about the point of displays and their connection to each other and what order they should be visited in.

Those displays where the audio was played on a speaker could hardly be hard once a nearby display was started.

The VR stands may have been good but some were clearly not working fully (the moving surf boards) and as the other displayed were so poor the lines for the VR were so big we could not be bothered.

Fun place, it's good to take kids there, adults could like some of the activities there. The staff speaks lots of languages and very friendly. They have very interesting 3D film about nature, and other augmented reality games

Not worth the money. Wish we had read reviews beforehand as would not have went. Issued we came across seem to have been going on for years. Visited 01 Aug 17.

Nice view from the restaurant.

Good modern facility and exhibits. In English as well. Could use more in the place so not worth full price at the moment. But it has only been open a short time

Check out 'Wheels and Waves'

Assez vide d'animation, pas très attractif, je recommande que pour les enfants en bas âge.

Good use of technology to teach ocean science. Large open space inside museum allows students and families access to installations, without being too crowded. I enjoyed my time here and could recommend it for an afternoon out.

The exhibit relies on a lot of technology to relate different topics about the ocean.

Overall very disappointing. Badly done and then poorly maintained. A waste of money.

I will not recommend to toddlers though.

I enjoyed what was there and appreciated that the audio is available in French, English and Spanish; however, I hope they do something with all of the space they have! The 2nd floor has a path to an auditorium and where the virtual reality surfing used to be, but that area is closed off. The virtual reality diving and surfing are both on the ground floor now. The exhibits are interactive and I found them interesting, but several did not work properly. The giant heads telling stories about the Bermuda Triangle and other mysteries are supposed to be followed by a video with the explanation, but only one worked for me. The others just shut off after the initial portion. If it's a rainy day in Biarritz, it's worth a visit. I hope they can add more to it in the future!

Interactive, multi language attractions are nothing new and can be done so well. This is not one of those.

Fixed audio stations in French Spanish and English are great thanks but all were clearly old and in poor condition and many did not work in any language and there simply weren't enough. Fixed audio aids also meant you had to queue up to wait fir an ear peace.

Things don't improve on the main display floor.
