Great science museum. Only a couple of exhibits for 7+, most are 10+. Combo ticket pricing onsite cheaper than website. Try to take Metro line 7 if you can. Line 5 sometimes a bit hairy. Worth the trip.

As a final aside, the second traveling exhibit was about the history of video games, which made me feel nostalgic and old.

Was this review …?

They also had the standard fare of Earth sciences, astronomy, sound, light, etc. All done in a very interesting and hand-on manner to engage the munchkins.

For the tourists, the vast majority of exhibits had copy in English so we were able to enjoy the museum despite not being fluent in French.

Nice hands-on museum. Entry allows to see a movie also, although if there is a lot of interest, the movie-only customers go first. Good place to go with kids. Some restaurants on-site to have a bite for lunch. Worth going for more than a few hours.

The museum itself was very reasonably priced. We went ahead and got tickets to two of the extra exhibits which were actually more than the normal price of admission.

This was an enjoyable and unique way to spend of our days in Paris. I would suggest that for a family traveling to Paris with kids it would be a fantastic diversion at the 1/2 way point of a vacation.

Nice with kids. Place didn't age too well but the main thing is the exhibitions. Plenty of good ones for kids.

The munchkins and I took a day for yourselves and decided to visit the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie during our recent trip to Paris.

We liked the planetarium watched the cosmic collusion documentary there but the rest of the place is not worth the money you are paying. Kids only liked the sound section. Went on a weekday afternoon and luckily there was no queue.

Fantastic museum with lots of hands-on activities. Great for kids. You can easily spend a whole day here and not get bored.

Really fantastic. Huge! We didn't even see everything within a whole day. Lots to see, with most exhibits available in several languages, but a little French certainly helps. Very interactive so great fun for all ages.

The exhibits were engaging for the munchkins and interesting for myself (an engineer). One thing that I really noticed (and enjoyed) was that so many of the exhibits weren't just about science, but had an artistic angle. The robotics traveling exhibit was more about the art and aesthetics of robots than the actual technology.

Excellent science place for all the familly (from 5 and up). Car park just in front. Lots of space technologies; some theme games for kids. They have a Planetarium, under water experience, some amusing play about today's transport. In short good place for the familly. Drawback : very few benches if you come in with your lunch. Otherwise plenty restaurants nearby and inside.

Wonderful interactive museum. Didn't allow enough time for my space and technology mad teenagers to explore everything. Don't forget to ask for audio-translation when in planetarium - staff didn't give us ours.

I've been to a lot of science museums over the years including Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, and San Francisco and I have to say that this is one of the best science museums I've ever visited.

This is a museum for the future from 50 years ago. It feels nightmarish and depressing. The interactive material is pixelated and laggy, when not broken. The only two attractions I found interesting were the planetarium (360˚x180˚ screen, low resolution but the movie is modern), and the submarine (a retired old submarine installed outside, with audio tour).

Great building, but many exhibits are not translated in English or german about 30% of exhibits are out of order. In this state the museum is not worth a visit. Planetarium is only French until 3 pm
