the negatives were as follows:
- the bed sheets were not changed throughout one week
- some things in our room were damaged (e.g. a lamp or the bath tub)
- toilet flushing was broken
- very expensive breakfast
- weird and intense sented candle smell throughout the stay

Lovely small hotel, friendly and helpful staff, everyone of them were amazingly amicable, this is a hotel where I would stay again.

The service was good, the bed was more comfortable than other European hotels, and the free breakfast was good, but I feel like you could get a better hotel for how much we paid.

Very friendly, welcoming and patient with foreigners. The tree-shaded courtyard gives the little breakfast bar the feeling of an oasis shielded from the noise and bustle of the working-class neighborhood outside. Not necessarily where you'd want to spend entire weeks in Paris, but ideal for a night or two before catching a train at Gare du Nord or Gare de l'Est.

A nice clean establishment. But the shower was very tight and impossible to bend over. The faucet handle also is very easy to knock because the shower was tiny. Lastly we were given a room with two single beds Instead of a queen and we were told there were no other rooms available, but we noticed the next morning that the hotel was not at all full but more empty. I will not stay again.
