Even in the fall (mid-October) there was much in bloom. The Water Lily pond is amazing. Well worth the trip from Paris, especially if you are a fan of Monet's work.

Arrived at 14.00 and there were only a few people waiting. Entry fairly quickly involved brief check of bags and notified that no picnic in garden allowed. Garden and all planting was fabulous well stocked and the lily pond and bridges just as imagined. There were quite a lot of selfie sticks around which was a bit tedious at times especially in the house! Well worth visiting and not too expensive.

The garden is beautiful and the admissions price is not too high, BUT beware, it's ALWAYS crowded to the point where it's difficult to move along the paths. quite often you will come across foreign tourists who seem to be doing their own photo shoots, complete with props and various outfits. it does spoil the overall experience somewhat. To get the most out of your visit, avoid school holidays, weekends and the whole of August when the visitor numbers are the highest. Do book your tickets online as this will save you time, sometimes queues at the ticket office are over an hour. Also try to arrive about 15 minutes BEFORE the gardens open so you're first in, this way you get a brief look at the garden without the people. The gift shop is expensive and you can get most things elsewhere or online for less. If you can, visit the garden at different times of the year to appreciate all it has to offer

You all do such a great job caring for this place. I come every year and it's always the same great experience. Bravo!

Monets garden is really worth a visit. Even on a dull morning in the rain it looked lush and colourful. We arrived about 12 and the queues were already long so it was worth pretty booking our tickets. You need to go in via the 'group' entrance. It was quite crowded but still wonderful to get a glimpse at his life and what inspired him. I loved it. Be aware that you will have to pay the full adult price for children over 14.

A stunning preservation of Monet's inspiration. The work that has been done to conserve the house and Garden of the artist and educate people is tremendous. Even for the non fan of impressionism or Monet, the walk around the garden or the famous lily pond is beautiful and relaxing. The house itself shows personal effects and insight into the man's lifestyle.

This was the highlight of my whole trip to France. The countryside is beautiful, definitely ride a bike from the train station. The house is well preserved and aesthetically pleasing. The garden is more beautiful than the paintings captured. The whole surround village is also gorgeous to explore. I got there as early as I could with a train trip from Paris and didn't wait in line for long. After I was in the house there was a longer line to enter.

This place is so beautiful. I have come here for my most special birthday and 2 other times just because I love it here. The restaurant outside is nice to stop by first and have lunch. The line is usually long... so have your partner wait while you explore the other beautiful gardens down the street! That's what I do!! Love the feeling here with any type of weather. The rain, wind, sunshine... it's all beautiful and gives off the spirit of Monet!

Too much people. You could hardly see the garden for all the tourists. Worth going for the walk from the train station and for the deeper appreciation of Monets paintings. You look at them with new eyes after a visit too the garden. If you buy the tickets online you can just walk in, no hustle. If you don't then you are stuck in a long line. I would guess people had too wait more then an hour or two in that line.

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL
The house, the gardens and the history of Monet. Knowledge guide brings small groups through both garden and house.
I highly recommend this attraction.

Great as a day trip from Paris, especially in the spring once the flowers have started blooming but before tourist season fully begins. I highly recommend renting bicycles near the Vernon train station, and then making your way over to Giverny. Note that you cannot picnic on the Foundation grounds, as much as you might want to.

The town's Giverny itself and the drive towards it is well worth the trip even if you do not pay to go into the museum.

Absolutely not to be missed. The Gardens are maintained perfectly throughout the season and the house is filled with beautiful painting from other impressionists and offers an intimate experience. You can easily walk to the entrance from one of the free parking lots nearby.
