A bunch of other great medieval art in here as well.

Really cool "small" mid evil castle. I would not have even noticed it if it hadn't been in a book I bought for my daughter from a gift shop in the Louvre. I'm glad I did though because it's a nice little castle with some interesting artifacts and history. Cost about 6.5 euro so one of the less expensive places to visit but has some of the oldest statues and artifacts in Paris. Worth a stop if you have time.

Excellent museum of the medieval time period. Lovely tapestries, books, ceramics gold etc. All diplayed in a medieval house built over what was once a roman bath.

Absolutely brilliant. Huge collection of beautiful medieval items; the goldsmithing room is particularly impressive. Fantastic Merovingian exhibition when I visited.

My new favourite Parisian museum. I was there shortly after it opened in a Sunday morning and had entire rooms to myself a few times before it started to get crowded at midday. Having stained glass windows at eye-level rather than in their natural habitats far up a cathedral wall is incredible. I loved examining the detail up close and the printed exhibit guides in each room are wonderful for getting insight into what's on display.

One of the most interesting museums in Paris. The history here is fascinating and the building in which the museum is housed is historic and interesting. There is a basement where you can view the old foundation. There are some fabulous pieces here as well.

Really pretty medieval museum, with beautiful exhibitions. It's currently on renovations but you can still see pretty much everything!

Wonderful museum highlighting the medieval ages. Currently undergoing some renovations, small museum but fantastic collection. The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries are the highlight of the museum. If you catch it right, take a tour of the roman baths.

Historical museum, personally not such a fun of medium age, but nice. Particularly remarkable the dame with the unicorn series. 8 to 10€ the entry fee.

Really enjoyed the museum, layout was a little confusing. Be sure to see the lady and Unicorn tapestries! Staff was very helpful.

The Lady and the Unicorn is a fantastic collection of tapestries of a lady, a unicorn, and an oft-forgotten lion. Each tapestry is enormous and detailed, with an explanation in a number of languages.

The 'Lady and the Unicorn' tapestries were a high point and I spent about half an hour examining them with only a handful of people coming in and out of the gallery.

I really wanted to like this museum since I enjoy studying the Medieval period. I found myself a bit underwhelmed - perhaps it was the construction going on. I wouldn't recommend this over other museums in Paris if you are staying for a short period of time. If you an hour to burn, or want to get all the value from the museum pass - sure, it is probably worth a visit.

A gem of a museum. Not to be missed if you are into all things medieval. If you aren't into all things medieval, still go, it might convert you. World class object collection covering all aspects of life in the middle ages. Housed in an amazing historic building. It's small when compared to the Louvre, but it's more focused so you can absorb it all in a single visit. Highly recommended.

The temporary exhibition on Merovingian France (the early Middle Ages) is terrific. Much of the fantastic permanent collection is also on display. Don't let the construction work or security measures put you off. Make sure to use the toilet before entering the museum, if you need it. It's down the stairs next to the reception desk.

Love. Every single aspect from the entrance to the exit. Easily one of our best museum experiences in Europe. Seeing some of my favorite works of art up close was breathtaking and emotional. I can't wait to return

With so many famous art museums in Paris, it would be easy to overlook the Cluny. But there's a lot of great art in here!
